The Fishmonger definitely gets 5/5 for the location and the breathtaking view. The vibe and the atmosphere was awesome and Irene our waitress was a dream. She was so attentive , great sales woman and knowledgeable at the menu. Our pain point unfortunately was the food. The chicken wings were way too tough ( I suspect they were undercooked), the spring chicken was not spring, the prawns and Avo Salad was more of terrible Kachumbari with dressing on the side and Prawns you can count on one hand (yes really, the prawns you see on top is the only thing). It lacked no imagination, was bland to tears. The Fudge cake was bitter, asked if it was dark chocolate perhaps, didnt get a response. The Mai Tai was mild, nothing to write home about. All in all, in the food and drinks we were better off with the house wine; the Serengeti (a confusing name for wine we know). If you do still want to go, make sure if its Friday night get there by 6 eish so u won't miss all the cool stops to...

Sunday 26-Sept 2021 We are a group of 5 who wanted to try the newly opened Fish Monger. We’ve reached at 2:40 PM and directly placed an order since we are late for lunch. Since we are with kids we told our waiter to make the french fries first fast. Drinks came right on time. It’s been 40min, and food is still not served. We’ve called 4x the attention of the waiter and I finally asked for the Manager. Ramadhan came and told him my concern. And now, more than 1hr still food hasn’t arrived. I got to know that their manager is Sabrina, I'm looking for her but she didn't show up. We ended up canceling our whole order and left.

PS: We went last Saturday, 18th Sept. It was only 9:45 PM but they said they're closed already. 2x we got disappointed and had the worst service.

Not worth trying if you're hungry. For picture purposes maybe yes but not to leave with a smile...

We visited The Fishmonger Seafood Bar Restaurant for our wedding anniversary and it was a wonderful experience. The restaurant is situated on the rooftop (4th floor), offering stunning sea views that made the evening extra special.

The service was amazing from start to finish, friendly, attentive, and welcoming. We ordered the massive seafood platter to celebrate, and it was absolutely outstanding. Everything was incredibly fresh, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor. For the quality and portion size, the price was very reasonable.

The atmosphere was calm and relaxing, not too busy or noisy, which made it perfect for our special occasion. Overall, we had a fantastic time and would highly recommend The Fishmonger Seafood Bar Restaurant to anyone looking for great seafood paired with beautiful views and...

Not a very pleasant experience, the restaurant was full the day we went, and unfortunately we got a table which later found out to be someones (apparently when they saw us getting that table waiters were told to quickly put the drinks there apparently it was the scenic view) which was not the reason we went for, we got a table in the middle and the waiter who told us to sit on the table which we were removed she never showed up until other waiter who came and took our order, later everything went well, the manager came twice to check if everything was OK, baby calamari (starter) was good, and English fish and chips portion was good. but first impression was last!

Had a nice time at The Fishmonger, the food was delicious and came in good time. The fried calamari with tartar sauce was awesome. The steak was cooked well and it was well seasoned. They also have a “home-cooked” style chilli sauce which was awesome - i would love to get the recipe! They also have a nice variety of drinks even for non alcoholic moktails. The seating is on the terrace of the building, having gone there in the evening before sunset, the atmosphere can get a bit warm for comfort. I would recommend visiting just at sunset or after for a more pleasant experience.
