1245 Lounge, Bar and Restaurant — Restaurant in Dar es-Salaam

I recently visited 1245 Lounge in Dar es Salaam with high hopes of enjoying a night out, but it turned out to be a major disappointment. As tourists, we were excited to explore the local nightlife, only to be turned away because of a bizarre set of rules, including a ban on flip-flops. This was never mentioned anywhere, so how were we supposed to know?

The staff's approach to enforcing these rules felt discriminatory and unwelcoming. Instead of accommodating or offering solutions, they seemed intent on making us feel out of place. It was not the experience we expected, especially as visitors eager to experience the city.

This place is poorly positioned. All of the serving staff and shisha staff are extremely rude. Which is insufferable after spending the amount of money in there for bottle and section service. This is the best lounge(with the VVIP ambience) you can link with friends, highly recommend. The Nigerian food is an A+ here.
