Al Aaqib Barbeque & Fast Food — Restaurant in Dar es-Salaam

Simple place with great food and great value for money!!. A regular spot for my family. When we have fussy guests or very tired my whole family unanimously says let's go to Sohail!!!. Their staff are very attentive and if you are a regular they even remember your requirements. They have a good selection on the menu for everyone. My personal favourite is chat patta chicken (picture below) and crispy chicken! Their portions are great and it's a child friendly place.. not to be missed is their chai after a great meal!!!! A must try and a must comeback!!!!

Ps if you are new and aren't sure what to order ask for the proprietor who is ever so helpful and incase you have an issue bring it up with him and he will always make an effort to make amends while you...

The place is too smokey... I ordered Nundu and it was not well prepared, was left a little raw (resent to be redone but was returned the same after sometime without even warming it up)... Lemon chicken was good, and also Seekh Kabab was ok. other thing I experienced is that a patron on another table was sent a Sizzler which was not his order and was taken back very rudely by the waiter after a minute, not even apologising for the wrong order to the customer. The owners need to check on the hospitality of the waiters or else they will start loosing...
