Sleep Inn Hotel - City Centre, Dar Es Salaam — Hotel in Dar es-Salaam

I stayed here for six nights and was able to get the best and the not best of the hotel. Starting with the positives, the staff were warm and welcoming. Service was good and rooms were well kept. Their WIFI is stable in a city which had notoriously lousy WIFI. I was put on a 8th floor room which shielded me from noisy street inconvenience. However, the hotel is located in a crowded part of the city. They also offer breakfast only at the restaurant and not bar. Breakfast menu is a big disappointment. Limited options repeated all over again and again. Not a fancy holiday place but serves business...

I stayed here for almost a week. All the staff members were VERY friendly and welcoming. The rooms are modern and very clean. I didn't have breakfast in the hotel so I can't rate this but the restaurant looked ok to me. There are quite a lot of cafes, shops and restaurants around the hotel. The area is very busy since it is located in the very heart of Dar es Salaam. However I always felt safe. The hotel provides good WiFi for those who need to work during their stay in Dar and all staff members were very happy to help with organizing taxis or recommending/ planning afternoon activities. Location is great / city center . The rooms are clean and seem decent .

For single occupancy I paid 90 dollars per day/ which is overpriced for the value you get here.

The room was small even for a single occupancy There was no kettle / coffee maker There was no iron board or iron The breakfast spread was disappointing and not worth paying for a bed + breakfast charge.

The staff was ok and responsive ..

Ok for a stay still as there are several options for eating out nearby.
