Desi Khana — Restaurant in Dar es-Salaam

Great restaurant, clean and happy environment, very overwhelming place, feels like home. About the food I give 100/10 the chef is very talented and expert, I asked to mix up the spices according to my taste because I'm so choosy when it comes to food,specially our Asian food, I am chatpata masala lover as a true pakistani,and the cook did exactly the way I wanted. Very hospitable and friendly person he is(the cook), I tried many different dishes and i found it all super tasty. Before going to tanzania i was worried if I will get the food according to my taste but that chef solved my worries. The owner of the restaurant is very friendly too. Unfortunately I couldn't meet to say good bye to the cook before I leave the country,but i wish him and the restaurant all the very best and i highly recommend this place..

I suggest to change the time of closing in Google as its been 1 hour I am calling so that I can order the food but no one is picking up the call and Ignoring the call the time in Google says its open till 2 am but I am calling since 12 am and not getting service if you are not able to operate the restaurant than please close it or if the time is Incorrect than change the time In Google false timing...

This is my absolute favorite restaurant in Dar Es Salaam. The food is always fantastic and no matter what I order I am always delighted with my meal! As far as the prices, it's 💯 worth it.

Servers are also happy and polite. Can’t wait to return and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for somewhere...
