Urban Rose hotel and apartment — Hotel in Dar es-Salaam

I am staying more than 16 monthos in this hotel. Modern reception at first floor is spacious with waiting lobby, Wi-Fi etc. Receptionist’s welcome everyone with welcome drinks :-) Rooms are well maintained, spacious, good ventilation. Additionally every room has sofa & dining table, smart kitchen and balcony. Excellent Hospitality, good housekeeping staff, high speed Wi- Fi as each floor has 2 boosters. Breakfast is complimentary - lot of varieties both in Veg & Non-Veg. I surprised to see Indian varieties like Poha, Vadapav, Upma, Dosa, Idly, Samosa for breakfast along with Passion, Watermelon, Pineapple & mango juice. Main course is excellent here, I tried mostly Indian & Chinese, Chef‘s were always perfect in their Job. Please don’t miss Hyderbadi Biryani, butter chicken and chicken chilly. I was privileged to have Haleem – a fine Hyderabad food; it was excellent & tasted very good to me as I never tasted it before. Location of Hotel also play important role for a Indian visitors, It’s located in Centre of city , very good access to major business hubs, banks, ferry to Zanzibar, Walkable distance to Temple, Masjid & Church. If at all if you want to eat outside & explore Indian food, within a radius of 1 kilometer you will find 90% of total Indian restaurants of Dar ES Salaam. The Urban Rose Hotel is certainly a 'Rose' in the middle of the City. The staff, as all reviews state, are exceptionally friendly. They stand back and let you use the lift first, they carry your bags, smile and say hello, nothing is too much trouble. They're wonderful and made our four night stay unforgettable. The breakfast was delicious. Each day there were differing varieties of curries and accompaniments. Of course there was a good selection of fresh fruit, toast and cereals or freshly made omelettes. All served with a smile by the ever helpful waiting staff. Our room was large and spacious with a kitchen, sitting room, bedroom, shower and toilet. There were two air-conditioning units and three ceiling fans, so keeping cool was a breeze. The room was clean and serviced each day with all toiletries being replenished as required. The restaurant is, open in the evening and on Saturday night there is an all you can eat buffet. The hotel is well positioned for all the sights of the City and around a half an hour taxi ride from the airport, traffic willing. All in all a great place to stay in Dar...
