Well, for a year and a half I was eating there, and this summarize it. Epi is 100% your go to with confidence in Masaki. Hygiene, service, food quality and ambiance you wonโt find in any other place (believe me you wonโt ๐)!
They have a dedicated inside section for workers, but if you are like me and you love fresh air your outside terrace is the perfect place for you. There you will view a greenery garden, with the birds and the butterflies ๐ฆ flying around! Some times cats are around and they add a funny caption to your scenery.
If you want to be around kids from time to time and watch the charm of their innocence then go during weekends from 10 am 15 pm. Itโs true it might be crowded, but believe me itโs worth it! They will put a smile on your face and make your whole week in advance.
If you are anti-crowd, and still want to go there in person during weekend, then target your visit starting 15:30.
Delivery- from experience order though Epi and not piki or any other application. Once you experience the difference you will thank me ๐!
Mosquitos might interrupt your joy - ask for the repellent they have and continue your meal peacefully.
We come to food, well after a year and a half I know the menu by heart. I tried everything and everything is tasty. The special is also a good choice and add to your varieties. If you miss their Ramadan Buffet you miss a lot, so make sure you go! If you decide to have something outside the menu, chef kapimo has a special dish under my name โhebaโ just ask for it ๐!
Crew- friendly and helpful. If you want something just say it and you will get it.
To sum up, Epi is your home...
ย ย ย Read moreI want to love this place, I really do but unfortunately I have to say it's just okay for several reasons.
First let me say, my 2 year old absolutely loved the playground! 5/5 for that.
The desserts sound and look amazing but the dessert cabinet was empty with only 2 items plus ice-cream. The one I did try tasted delicious and so was the ice cream so 5/5 on tastiness on the dessert but 1/5 on availability.
We went around 6pm for dinner, it was extremely crowded, fair enough and the ordering online is a good idea. But service in general was very poor. Just because there's an app to order, doesn't mean that no waiter should attend. We didn't get someone for over 30min. There should also be an option to have a physical menu in case someone can't access the link. So 1/5 on service.
Food, I am sure was very good once before or even would have been on another day less busier. Everything seems to be just thrown together with too much salt, lime, looked sloppy, chicken was dry like something bought from a street side place. I agree with one of the other reviewers, mint and lemon juice was way too sour and the coriander chicken was also too sour. 2/5 on food.
So would probably go back again just...

I got lucky with traffic, so arrived quite early for our reservation (5pax) but they seated me anyway, brought menus, served a cocktail. The group arrived and got starters and drinks quickly. My goat cheese honey tartine was perfect with a glass of the sauvignon blanc.
Everyone enjoyed their meals. Mine was easily the biggest, meatiest roasted lamb shank I've ever had. Our only confusion was with dessert; menus were brought and orders taken, but then they apologised for not having something and instead served a special VDay cake and champagnes all around. Those were very nice, but the plot (if it was one) was not necessary.
We've been to Epi d'Or numerous times for lunch. If I had known how good dinner was, we'd have done it years ago. Quite nice to add a new spot to our evening...
