I recently dined at Namaste Restaurant in Dar es Salaam, and I must say, it was an incredibly disappointing experience. To begin with, the restaurant is not spacious at all. The outdoor seating area, which they offer, is dangerously close to the road and car parking. I felt like I was risking my safety just to enjoy a meal.

The quality of the food was well below average, and the portion sizes were disappointingly small, especially considering the exorbitant prices they charge compared to other restaurants in Masaki. It's unacceptable to pay a premium for subpar dishes.

The lack of supervision of the staff was evident as there was a considerable delay in attending to customers and taking orders. The servers appeared disorganized and overwhelmed. To make matters worse, it was clear that they had no knowledge about the dishes on the menu, making it impossible to get recommendations or clarify any questions about the food.

During my visit, I noticed that one of the glasses on my table was broken. This is not only a safety hazard but also a clear indicator of the restaurant's lack of attention to detail and cleanliness.

The wash area left much to be desired as well. It is a tiny space located adjacent to the toilets, and while it may be clean, it cannot be locked from the inside, which is not only inconvenient but also a privacy concern.

As if all of this wasn't enough, the live band they had was nothing short of pathetic, and it was accompanied by a poor audio system, making it nearly impossible to enjoy the music or hold a conversation without yelling.

In conclusion, Namaste Restaurant in Dar es Salaam falls short on multiple fronts. The lack of space, the unsafe outdoor seating, the poor food quality, the inadequate portion sizes, the untrained staff, the broken glassware, the subpar wash area, and the dismal live entertainment all make for a dining experience that is far from satisfactory. I would strongly advise anyone looking for a pleasant dining experience to steer clear of this establishment. There are far better options...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Namaste Restaurant in Dar es Salaam, and it was a delightful experience. The cozy ambiance of the restaurant adds to its charm, providing an intimate setting that felt both welcoming and exclusive. The outdoor seating area, close to the road and car parking, offers a vibrant and lively dining atmosphere, adding to the urban experience of the meal.

The food was unique and flavorful, with portions that encourage tasting and sharing, enhancing the communal dining experience. The prices reflect the premium quality and unique culinary experience one can expect in Masaki, providing value for the exquisite dishes served.

The staff at Namaste added to the restaurant's charm with their relaxed approach, allowing us to dine at our own pace, which felt refreshing and personalized. They were friendly and provided a laid-back service that made the meal more enjoyable. Although they seemed casual, their knowledge of the menu was apparent through their recommendations and the delightful dishes that arrived at our table.

The rustic touch of the restaurant was evident in the minimalist tableware, which included an eclectic mix of glasses, one of which had a quaint, artisanal feel to it. This added to the unique character of the place.

The wash area, though small, was neat and efficiently organized, adjacent to the toilets, making it easily accessible without compromising on cleanliness and functionality.

The live band and the audio system provided a charmingly authentic backdrop to the meal, giving a local flavor to the dining experience that was both engaging and culturally enriching.

In conclusion, dining at Namaste Restaurant in Dar es Salaam was a memorable experience. Its intimate setting, vibrant outdoor seating, delightful food, relaxed service, unique tableware, efficient wash area, and lively entertainment all contributed to a wonderful dining adventure. It's a gem in Masaki that's definitely worth a visit for anyone looking for an enjoyable and culturally rich...

I just had the most incredible experience at Namaste Restaurant during the World Cup finals with my family. We had such a lovely time there! The ambience was absolutely amazing, and the staff were so polite and attentive. We couldn't resist trying the Sheesha and it was fantastic. We also indulged in a few cocktails which were absolutely amazing. Now, let me tell you about the food... We ordered the mix veg platter and it was out of this world! It had a little bit of everything and the flavors were just perfect. We also tried the chicken Afghani, chicken malai tikka, fish finger, tangadi kebab, paneer tikka masala, Palak paneer, mutton kheema masala, and butter garlic prawns. And the breads... oh my goodness, they were so soft and just melted in our mouths. It was an unforgettable culinary experience. I can't recommend Namaste...

Food was good but portion size was small. Soup was a very small size bowl compared to other restaurants. May be yesterday it was live band it was crowded and their food quality degraded but also their service was very poor. Staff was not attentive. They were not conscious about their reserved tables. They draw us to the reserved tables and than some other staff came and told its reserved so we can't seat here. About their live band- we enjoyed a lot. They started with retro songs to all time favorite 90s bollywood songs. They also fulfilled requests for particular song. We were there since 8.30 to 2am. Band performance started at 10pm, but after 11pm we enjoyed it at most.

Visited Namaste Restaurant with family and had a fantastic experience! The ambience was warm and welcoming, the Indian food was absolutely delicious, and the live music added the perfect touch to our evening.🥂 The staff was attentive and made us feel right at home. A must-visit spot if you’re looking for a great dining experience with authentic flavors and soulful music. Bollywood live music was cherry on the cake 🥰❤️

Great experience at Namaste. The food was absolutely delicious and i cant wait to go try the different things on their menu I had mushroom chilli and stuffed naan.. Yummy! The service was great too, food came out pretty quickly I would recommend adjustments to their decor though. The furniture placement and tables and chairs used makes it look cluttered but lighting was good
