Nigerian Resturant in Tanzania (Dishes_tz) — Restaurant in Dar es-Salaam

I recently visited here to try their Nigerian cuisine, and despite some initial issues, the exceptional customer service turned my experience around. The atmosphere was quiet on a Friday afternoon, which I appreciated.

I ordered the coconut rice with goat meat for 25,000 tzs. The food arrived promptly, but unfortunately, the goat meat was overcooked and tough, making it difficult to eat. I ended up leaving a significant portion uneaten. You can see on the pics.

However, the real standout was the manager, Anastasia (affectionately referred to as "Madam" by the staff). When I brought the issue to her attention, she was incredibly apologetic and proactive. She promptly offered to replace the goat meat with chicken, which was cooked to perfection. As a gesture of goodwill, she also provided a complimentary chicken patty.

Although the food didn't quite meet my expectations, Anastasia's exceptional customer service and willingness to make things right left a lasting impression. I'm willing to give the restaurant another chance in the future, hoping that the quality of their dishes will improve. J’ai commandé via Duka Direct un Jollof rice au goat meat (25,000) et une okra sauce (20,000) avec fufu. Les plats étaient bons, mais honnêtement, j’ai été déçue : il n’y avait presque pas de viande, seulement des peaux de pied de goat (dans le jollof) et des tripes dans la sauce gombo/okra. Le prix est un peu exagéré 😕

Le Jollof en lui-même était bon, et j’ai apprécié qu’il y ait de la vinaigrette dans la salade, ce qui est assez rare dans certains restos à Dar. Malheureusement, j’avais précisé que je ne voulais pas que les plats soient trop pimentés, pourtant ils ont ajouté énormément de piment sur les morceaux de viande 🥵

Obviously that’s a lot for a man like me but i didnt regret it ✌️
