Swaad Restaurant — Restaurant in Dar es-Salaam

We ordered a lot of food and requested for boiled eggs. They were charging us 3000 tsh for one single boiled egg.

We requested to meet the manager or the chef to see us. They rejected our request to meet us even after we requested multiple times. They also mentioned if you go we have many other customers. Felt not right this way of handling the customers. Will never visit them again. The servers were asking for an apology after showing that we are writing the review.

In response to the owner’s reply: Thank you for your response. To clarify, the boiled egg price was not visible on the menu during our visit, and even after asking, the servers could not provide it. Swaad restaurant is something else, it's so beautiful. They have a warmly welcoming waitress. Food is on time about 20mins, they got a good grilled chicken with rice for $10 plus with drinks. They have a good price. I like how they have a supervisor who makes everything runs smoothly. And there's this one waitress served us with good manners, it was incredible. I took Paneer Lababdar which had a funny taste. Told the staff and they changed but even the taste of this also was bad. They accepted that there is an issue. We were told to change the dish and they changed the dish with reduced quantities. It is not at all acceptable and a very bad experience. Not at all...
