So Everything was Pretty as alright until………I paid for my bill by card which was equivalent to 180$. Then decided to have a few more drinks for the road which was close to 20$. I was touring tanzania and didn’t have Tanzanian cash. I asked to pay the bill by card and I was declined and told it’s the law and there is nothing I can about it.
I had to wait for the waitress for over 1hour for her to return and mention the request is denied so I asked to go to an atm with any one of their employees of choice but they escalated the situation by detaining us cause my friends wanted to record the whole scene.
A senior manager then showed up and Didn’t like the drama that was unfolding and decided to let the situation cool off by paying the bill so that we don’t post the videos and photos.
I hope they get to respect their clients and change their system and inform everyone they don’t use card payment for bills below Amount xxxxx.
Detaining clients is not legal as well as broken phone screens cause of intervention etc is unacceptable.
Generally it’s was always a nice place to be until that...

Two white clients walked in and were allowed to sit wherever they liked including “the reserved sections “When we left at 6 PM, those supposedly reserved seats were still empty. To make things worse, they refused to accept card payments under 150,000 TZS, even though we were splitting the bill—very inconvenient and unfriendly. On a separate occasion, my girl friends and I were forced to share a table with a group of men who ended up dominating the space and even slapped one of my friends. Shockingly, the management did nothing about it and we were instead asked to leave
Terrible service, unwelcoming policies, and a complete lack of customer care. Definitely not...
