After a close to 10 hour road trip, Mipa Hotel was exactly what the doctor recommended. The rooms are clean, well equipped and the staff friendly. The only fly in the oitment was the slippery floor tiles, otherwise the rest was perfect. Air con, kettle, sugar and tea leave for a cuppa in the middle of the night or day, drinking water and glasses. And wonder of all wonders a line for those unmentionables you have to hang to dry overnight. The view is nothing much, we were facing Bugando hill, but the hotel room was comfortable enough to make up for what the place lacked in view. ||||The staff were friendly and very accommodating. Hotel is on the main road through Mwanza which can be noisy mid evening but this was not a problem. Handy for shops and good restaurants are a walkable distance away.
