Mapacha Food Court — Restaurant in Unguja

I recently visited a food court that offered a wide variety of food styles and had an authentic and cool atmosphere. The food court had a great reputation for serving high-quality and authentic food, but unfortunately, it wasn't exactly to my taste.

The food court had a diverse range of cuisines on offer, and I appreciated the variety of choices available. However, the specific dishes I tried didn't quite meet my personal taste preferences.

Despite this, I must say that the food court's ambiance was fantastic. It had a cool and authentic vibe that transported me to another place and time. The decor and lighting were well-thought-out and added to the overall experience.

I don't remember the name of the place, however, the ones that serve the fresh fish, just unbelievable. The best fish we've had on this island. It's located between the coffee shop and the bathroom. Anyway, their juices were also amazing. I had the tamarind juice and my husband had the Hibiscus juice. They also gave us complimentary peanuts as an appetizer while we were waiting for the food. Afterward, we had an overpriced not so tasty ice cream from next-door, but this place still gets five stars due to the amazing cuisine from this fish place. Definitely plan to come back.

Ambience was also nice and all the tables were clean. You can tell the workers really take pride in this place and try to make it as welcoming...

The food was okay, and the chicken wings were very small for the price. The portion of chicken strips was good for the price. The guy at the chicken station was really nice and deserved his tip. This place could be very nice, but unfortunately, the seats and tables were covered in a thin layer of dust—I suspect from car traffic. We sat on a towel to protect our clothes. It would be very helpful if someone would go around and clean before people sit down. The wooden plates are a great idea, but if they have sand in them, it's not worth it. A wall or fence separating the place from the street would also be a good idea. With a little more effort, this place could be even nicer. The idea behind this...
