The Best Restaurant in Paje Zanzibar. We meet the owner, Thierry, who is so passionate about each dish he crated for a complex menu. He personally came and explained for us the dishes and took very good care of us. We had tuna tartar, beef fillet, tuna steak, ratatouille vegetables, gratine patatos, a desert with homemade chocolate, and white australian wine. All of them were delicious, especially the tuna tartar. The bill was approximately 60$ and its worth all the pennies. You can pay by card, which is hard to find in Paje, and if you do, they will charge you an extra 3 or 5 % from the bill. Here you can pay by any card the fixed amount of the bill, nothing extra. The staff are so friendly and well trained, very careful and professional. Good music, big plasma projector to watch games, and on top of you will have a special guest - the very friendly and smart dog Puket. It's definitely a MUST destination

The only problem with this restaurant is could find, is the property is a bit on the average side and is not beach facing. This is where all negative opinions end. The food at this restaurant is absolutely amazing. They service was on spot. The fillet de boeuf was amazing, and so was the tuna steak. For the starter, we had the ratatouille, and I would recommend that. The owner was kind enough to make the foie gras poele style when we requested it. The owner was very welcoming and explained to us the entire menu and even informed us as to what would be the fresher and in season meat. They also served cheese before dessert. I would recommend anyone who is craving French cuisine to visit this place. This restaurant will not disappoint.

My wife and I recently had the pleasure of dining at Ratatouille, where we pre-ordered a lobster. From the moment we arrived, the experience was exceptional. The French owner personally welcomed us and even took us into the kitchen to show us the freshly caught lobster and his impeccably clean kitchen, which immediately set the tone for the evening. Afterward, a friendly waiter escorted us to our table, where we ordered delicious cocktails that complemented the meal perfectly. Every detail, from the warm hospitality to the exquisite food, made our experience unforgettable. We enjoyed every moment, and it was truly a memorable dining experience from start to finish.

We went there for our New Year Dinner ... they didn't have any special menu, but their normal menu is already special within each item . As a start, the owner was a great host, that made us feel like having dinner in his own house as friends. Tuna tartar starter was so fresh and nice you can feel the freshness of tuna with every bite. We kinda regreted not ordering 2 plates from it from how tasty it was. For main dish, we went for beef tartar and steak. And both choices was perfect, for me I enjoyed the beef tartar so much and would sure order it again next time. My wife steak was super tender and perfectly cooked.

The owner recommended to finish our meal with a mixed cheese plater. We agreed even though we were full. He offered us a complimentary 2 glasses of wine. To our surprise, the platter was finished in 10 minutes from how good his cheese choices were.

The place is a must go for a quality time, don't worry about your choices as everything served there is perfect. The owner is super friendly and nice. Tell him to play Dalida if you love her, he adores her.

N.B don't you ever refuse the cheese platter at the end of your meal, even if you were completely full, you will go crazy with it

Highly must go...
