Natural Kendwa restaurant — Restaurant in Unguja

Had to sit at the only available spot, being couches and coffee table right at the entrance with the street smell and noise inyaface- upstairs was apparently full. Owner was eating his pizza dinner while watching a movie on his phone at the table next to our couch. Across the entrance stairs was the pizza oven, wafting lovely garlic bread smells in the air, boding well to tummies. We waited 15 minutes for a menu. Orders then arrived quickly. Unfortunately, the cocktails were not great, the mixed salad was just slaw, and the mains very disappointing - tiny and tasteless - the photos do not lie. The veg soup was good but salty. Amazing place for an amazing dinner. Nice menu with a good variety of dishes, they have a very good pasta and pizza as well. You get a very good service from start to finish, including a welcome entry for free. We had pasta di mare and a Margherita, both were very good. Special mention for the dessert (brownie with ice cream) which was very tasty. And especially important: food arrives fast. This restaurant is very beautiful and located right next to Kendra rocks hotel. It is super spotless and has a wonderful staff. It’s one of my favorite places in Kendwa. They have a lot of Italian dishes like pizza and pasta but also all types of seafood and soups and salads. They make the pizza fresh and they even had marinara which is vegan.
