We booked through Hungry Hub AYCE package and it was a great dining experience with small portions for each item, but was let down at the end by the desserts.
First of all, the small portions: They made much smaller portions (say 50-70% smaller) than the original, which I find it nice, but some of the portion may be too shy in size and ingredients.. Overall its ok and allowed us to try many delicious items on the menu.
Food: -Grilled striplion and lamb rack were cooked well and tasted good. -Roasted Salmon, Baked Seabass & panfried Snowfish steak, all were cooked and seasoned well. Tasted great. -Black ink Risotto with calamari was delicious, but came with 3 small pieces of calamari, this is a bit of a shame. The plate probably consist of 90% rice and 10% calamari. -Pasta was delicious especially the Paccheri, duck ragout
Desserts: We tried all 4 items on the menus. BUT for us personlly only 1 and a half of it tasted ok. Lodi Almond cake. Cookie like texture, tasted ok. Chocolate and pear tart with vanilla ice cream. Only the vanilla ice cream was good. Baba with citrus & limoncello. For us we could only take a small bite each. Not eatable for desserts. Braisee Pear in red wine. Not eatable too. Recommed chef to remove/repace the last 3 desserts above from the package menu.
Service: Staff was attentive and provided great service.
Overall, we may comeback for the many delicious items, if the desserts...
Read moreDon Giovanni at Centara Grand Ladprao offers a refined yet welcoming Italian dining experience that impresses both in flavor and ambiance. The restaurant’s classic décor, warm lighting, and professional service immediately set the tone for a memorable meal.
We began with the artichoke soup, which was velvety smooth and deeply aromatic—earthy, slightly nutty, and beautifully balanced. It’s the kind of starter that comforts and excites at the same time.
Next came the pizza, freshly baked with a thin, crisp crust and generous toppings. The dough was just chewy enough, with a nice wood-fired aroma that gave it an authentic Italian feel. Whether you go for a classic Margherita or something more elaborate, it’s hard to go wrong here.
The pasta was a standout—al dente and richly sauced. We tried a truffle-infused tagliatelle and a seafood linguine; both were skillfully prepared, with each ingredient contributing clearly to the dish’s overall profile.
For dessert, the tiramisu was an elegant finale: light layers of mascarpone cream, espresso-soaked ladyfingers, and a dusting of cocoa that brought just the right bitterness to balance...

Last Saturday we went for a lunch. Since we have limited budget, we selected the business lunch in order to save our expenses.. All food tastes very nice with authentic flavour especially the appetizer bread. The pizza came in generous serve and was quite tasty. Main course are also tasty of good value. Buonnissimo.
But there is one thing disappointing. The drinking water costs extremely high.
We asked for plain water but the staff did not provide us the drink menu. So we assumed that they may have selected the one in lower end for us.
After meal, once receiving the bill, We were truly mesmerized and speech less. The drinking water (two bottles) Costs 380 BAHT. That's unbelievable, it's even more expensive than a main dish.
Anyway, I have already drunk it without knowing the price before. May be it was fault that I didn't ask for a drink menu.
This is my first expensive. And I...
