Rating: ★★★★★ (5/5)

Review: Basecamp Trail Hub is undoubtedly the ultimate destination for trail runners and hikers in Thailand. This place offers everything you need for a fantastic outdoor experience. I would rate it a perfect 5 out of 5.

One of the standout features of Basecamp Trail Hub is the availability of food and drinks. After a long hike or trail run, it's a relief to know that you can refuel and refresh yourself with their offerings. Additionally, having a talented and personable barista adds a delightful touch to the experience, making the coffee or beverages even more enjoyable.

The people at Basecamp Trail Hub are incredibly friendly and welcoming. They create a warm and inclusive environment where outdoor enthusiasts can connect, share experiences, and find valuable trail information. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced trail runner or hiker, this place is an excellent resource for gathering information and tips.

What makes Basecamp Trail Hub even more exceptional is its dog and cat-friendly policy. It's wonderful to know that you can bring along your furry friends and enjoy the trails together. This pet-friendly approach enhances the sense of community and makes the experience even more enjoyable for animal lovers.

In terms of facilities, Basecamp Trail Hub goes above and beyond. The clean toilets and the availability of a shower room demonstrate their commitment to providing a comfortable and convenient environment for visitors. Having the opportunity to freshen up after a hike or run is a welcomed amenity that adds to the overall experience.

In summary, Basecamp Trail Hub is the epitome of a trail runner's and hiker's paradise. With their food and drink options, friendly staff, wealth of trail information, pet-friendly atmosphere, and excellent facilities, they have truly created an exceptional destination. If you're passionate about outdoor activities, make sure to visit Basecamp Trail Hub for an...

My sunday workout! This week my expat crew members went out for hiking on famous track "Monk trail" we met at Basecamp Coffee House nearby Chiang Mai University. It was great workout as usual, I would like to leave credit of pleasure to my expat crew members today and especially to Doug Woolley. I couldn't slept well the night before our hiking day so my following day was like hazy hike! I had black sticky rice with Chiang Mai sausage "Sai Ua" , Northern Thai Chilli dip "Nam Prik Num" and coffee as breakfast this morning. Even I filled up my tummy with heavy meal but My hazy hasn't gone until we climbed the steep of 45 degrees! Overviews of weather and track condition today, it was 32 •c temperature 63% of humidity with cloudy sky in the morning and then sunny at midday. The track we went hiking today was wet surface but great mixture of dirt and crushed stone, the wet from heavy rained couple days ago help moisture and soften the soil so crushed stone could easily dug into soil once we step on them, this made the track much easier to walk compare to dried water run way. In dried water run way track, every rock could be roll once you step on them that could lead to twist of your angkle easily. Benchmark of our workout today was to tackle the steepness of the moutain! Unfortunately one of our crew members decided to give up on finishing the tackle. Well, the reward of our tackle were glamorous views of Chiang Mai city and photos time at "Wat Pha Lat temple" and to witness the rise of water level in "Galae" reservoir and "Ang Kaew" reservoir was most...

There are two cute dogs in this coffee shop(Sometimes they are not in the shop). I especially like the big brown dog named Taco (It sounds like "Takoyaki" or "Tako( which means octopus in Japanese)" ) because he is very charming and his behaviour and characteristics are really similar to these of my dog. I took a lot of pictures of him : ) His is like "a beckoning dog" (the original one is a beckoning cat) as he really made me want to come here.

Customers are also allowed to bring their own dogs so you may have a chance to see other cute dogs. You can enjoy interacting with dogs without paying additional fee :) though sometimes their dogs are not in the shop.

Their Thai food tastes so good. I think their food has higher quality than other Thai food shops do. I personally think Thai food is one of the best foods in the world ( though the country may not be the best for me to live in... I am sorry to say this. I still like Thailand as a tourist...

We used this as our drop off point and made it the perfect rest and cool off point after our hike to Wat Pha Lat. This clearly seems like a regular spot for students to get some work done and hikers to grab a drink and recharge. A nice iced drink, some A/C and water motivated us through the tail end of our hot adventure and Basecamp provided! I got a iced Thai green tea and my husband a ginger Italian soda, he gave me a couple sips and it was perfectly refreshing! The prices seemed in line with other spots in Chiang Mai and the service was very pleasant. They even had a complimentary water-cooler to refill bottles or just grab a glass on the counter to the left. I also loved that if you are drinking in that they use reusable metal straws! It seemed like there might have been two different restaurants for food right outside which smelled great but we didn’t try it. Worth the stop to cool off with a drink on a hot day!
