We found this restaurant by researching and was not disappointed. It is a very local restaurant, where there is no english menu (also, no wifi). We have been in Chiang mai for a couple of weeks now and tjis was a GREAT surprise, food-wise. It is not a touristy place at all and we found the food to be DELICIOUS. By watching the plates that were being ordered by the tables around, we understood that there are some dishes that are the fav ones - like the one I ordered: scrambled eggs with seafood on top of rice. And I was surprised by how delicious it was. My husband ordered the rice with fried fish and he also was very pleased with it’s flavores and quality. They offer a very unique selection of chillis/ sauces. Both our plates costed 70 bahts. And we would love to come back to try many other dishes...
Read moreI like the ambiance of this place. It's for students really but I don't think anyone would feel out of place in the relaxing green courtyard. Staff are friendly and the prices very reasonable. Lots of hot and cold drinks on offer, but no booze. There's also a good range of food options. Rather confusing system where you pay for your food and drinks separately.
The food is pretty sub-par, unfortunately. Gristly chicken and uncooked broccoli that had just been removed from the freezer. Perhaps they're using cheaper ingredients, but a good chef should know how to get the best out of off-cuts and this one...
