I had the best meal of my year so far here. The menu is thoughtful and full of options that have been hard to find in SE Asia. It was hard to know what I would like best, but I can accept the blame for craving several items. I chose a set menu with 6 courses, because it seemed like a great value, and it made the decision making easier.
The staff provided almost perfect service, with everyone at our table receiving their food and having it revealed at the same time! The attention to detail was excellent and there was a 3 piece band playing soft music throughout the evening. The restaurant has a very classy feel, and the live music was a great addition. In general the staff seem to be a well trained team, and spoke English very well.
The food was full of flavor, and the artistic presentation of the food was above my expectations. I especially liked the smoked duck breast salad, and the grilled Kurobuta pork. The wine cellar is well curated, but if someone is on a budget you can have a great experience here without wine. This isn't inexpensive, but it is a great value given the quality of the food and service. I'll definitely be coming back to Chang Mai, and this will be the most important...
Read moreHad a great time celebrating Loy Krathong at Le Crystal. They beautifully decorated the garden with lanterns, lights, and also fireworks, it’s magical.
We were seated inside the restaurant right next to the window with a great view of the garden. Inside, we had very classy yet cozy ambience/atmosphere. Live music / band was playing throughout the night. The services were impeccable, someone is always there to care for us.
We ordered the Loy Krathong set menu. 5 courses for 2000 baht, reasonable priced. The food is delicious and prepared to our specifications. However, the overall taste/execution was not quite on par with the best French food I’ve had. I will definitely come back though to try the more traditional French dishes.
Overall, we had a wonderful time here. And highly recommend...
Read moreWe celebrated my husband's birthday here and opted for the 2,500 baht per pax set dinner. It came with all the premium ingredients like foie gras, scallops, truffles, beef steak, tiger prawns etc. Service was impeccable and there was live music, along with fairy lights in the garden. We were so happy with the experience that I left a generous tip. Some possible points for improvements: the restaurant should consider having more fresh juices. The fruit juices offered were all from the carton, except for the orange juice, which was really a mocktail with soda it would be nice to have a wholewheat bread option in the bread basket. Some people like me do not eat white bread for...
