Nestled in the heart of Chiang Mai, Baristo X Ping is a gem we stumbled upon during our quest for a mid-morning delight. Thanks to Google Maps, we found this haven that lived up to the hype from our friends who sang praises of its Nimin location. What truly sets Baristo X Ping apart is its dual identity – not just a coffee haven but also a co-working space. As someone always on the lookout for a cozy spot to tackle tasks, this got me genuinely excited. The expansive venue buzzed with creativity as people worked diligently on various projects. The menu at Baristo X Ping boasts a range of specialty drinks, and my choice, the caramel iced coffee was delightful. Robust and flavorful, it was an amazing caffeine concoction. One of my friends opted for a hot Americano and found no reason to complain – a testament to the shop's commitment to quality. Our sweet indulgence came in the form of a cheesecake, a delightful surprise of fluffiness and density that danced on our taste buds. The ambiance, with its ample space and inviting atmosphere, provided a perfect backdrop for our morning escape. Upstairs, overlooking the serene Ping River, we found a tranquil retreat to simultaneously tackle school assignments and plan our Chiang Mai adventures. Baristo X Ping is more than just a coffee and pastry shop; it's an experience waiting to be savored. Whether you're seeking a quiet work haven or a scenic spot to unwind, this place ticks all the boxes. Whatever brings you here, rest assured, your visit will be nothing short of delightful.

The baristro is chiang mai's newest and hottest instagramable cafe near the old town along the Ping River. Turned from an old house to cafe, the architecture is astoudingly simple. Wooden doors become glass panels, garden grass are laced with white pebbles, the roof is laid bare. Everything here is carefully stripped to its basic exterior, and yet, it exudes creativity. The 2nd floor is not to be missed - where the sun shades down on tables in angled lines, falling perfectly on a tray of drinks that you can take photos to your liking. The outdoor area is equally impressive. Although they are still constructing the veranda, the path leading down to the river is nicely laid, with a tree in the corner for shade and a center wooden table for couples in their romantic backdrop. The cafe and drinks itself are worth the price. Trying the infused juices with cinnamon is a treat, served in a peculiar glass. This is a place for students, families, couples, and elders as well. Really impressive place, taking photos here can seem endless.

Tried out this branch of The Baristro which is located right next to Ping river. The place has an indoor & outdoor seating area. And if the weather is not too hot, then definitely sitting by the terrace or their backyard will be perfect. Tried out The Baristro Beer (chrysanthemum with cream cheese), Americano Beer, Pink Panther, Pandoro (cake with chocolate filling & topped with a mountain load of icing sugar) & coconut pie pudding (a bit unsure of the name though). In overall the drinks are nicely done and taste delicious. The coconut pie thingy is also good but still cannot get over the fact that it’s served in disposable plastic cups. As for the Pandoro, it’s just a bit lacking in taste and texture. The one that I got was bland and the cake is a bit on the dry side, the chocolate was so less and the sugar is just way too much. Aside from that, the place has plenty of photo spots so you might see many people taking photos. But it’s definitely a good place just to chill and unwind.

I was here twice, on the second day they messed up with the order, but everything was fixed quickly and without any questions. Excellent. Delicious coffee, very beautiful place. I was pleasantly surprised. Lots of space where you can sit and relax, eat, or work on the computer. You can sit indoors or outside with a beautiful view (but it is very hot). There is also a second floor, but it is much hotter on the second floor than on the first floor (you can probably ask the staff to turn on the air conditioners at full power). There is also a separate room for meetings, but you have to pay for it separately (if I understood correctly). The parking lot is not big, there are enough people in the restaurant, but it was not crowded

It happened in the late morning of one Friday while we’re waiting for my cousins to come from airport. Lucky enough there ain’t no big crowd in here. Majority of them were supposedly the college guys working on their assignments, and the rest couldn’t be other than the cafe hoppers (just like us 😂). Due to our large entourage, we had to relocate ourselves to the upstair where nobody at all owned the area and we could legitimately colonize the place 🤣, or the peace became demolished. My sisters and I made an insane orders of beverages and desserts as if we would stay rooted right here for several hours. The staffs were so nice and professional that we’ve got everything unmistakenly - two thumbs up‼️

The Baristo x River Ping is a modern, fresh and trendy coffee house. Situated quite literally next to the Ping River, this is an ideal spot to have a high-end coffee experience. The cafe itself is very clean and tidy and has industrial modern vibes, yet it still feels comfortable and chic. The baristas are polite, efficient, and make a well-produced cup of coffee. There is an ample menu of beverages that you can customise to your liking. There are also provisions for parking. What really sells this place is the location. There is a spacious outside seating area that provides a great view of the Ping River which makes it perfect for both single customers as well as groups.
