Nestled in the heart of Chiang Mai, Baristo X Ping is a gem we stumbled upon during our quest for a mid-morning delight. Thanks to Google Maps, we found this haven that lived up to the hype from our friends who sang praises of its Nimin location.
What truly sets Baristo X Ping apart is its dual identity – not just a coffee haven but also a co-working space. As someone always on the lookout for a cozy spot to tackle tasks, this got me genuinely excited. The expansive venue buzzed with creativity as people worked diligently on various projects.
The menu at Baristo X Ping boasts a range of specialty drinks, and my choice, the caramel iced coffee was delightful. Robust and flavorful, it was an amazing caffeine concoction. One of my friends opted for a hot Americano and found no reason to complain – a testament to the shop's commitment to quality.
Our sweet indulgence came in the form of a cheesecake, a delightful surprise of fluffiness and density that danced on our taste buds. The ambiance, with its ample space and inviting atmosphere, provided a perfect backdrop for our morning escape. Upstairs, overlooking the serene Ping River, we found a tranquil retreat to simultaneously tackle school assignments and plan our Chiang Mai adventures.
Baristo X Ping is more than just a coffee and pastry shop; it's an experience waiting to be savored. Whether you're seeking a quiet work haven or a scenic spot to unwind, this place ticks all the boxes. Whatever brings you here, rest assured, your visit will be nothing short...

The Baristro at Ping River is not just a coffee shop—it’s a place where time slows down, hearts soften, and something in your soul quietly exhales.
Every time I return to Chiang Mai, this is the first place I go. And then, I go every single day. It has become my ritual, my sanctuary, my favorite place on Earth for a coffee, a pause, and a deep breath.
Nestled gracefully by the river and surrounded by nature, The Baristro feels like a secret garden infused with calm and beauty. You sit with your coffee in hand, listening to the birdsong, feeling the breeze, watching the water flow—and suddenly, everything feels right. It’s that kind of place.
The coffee? Absolutely divine. Every cup is crafted with care, always rich, fragrant, and satisfying. The food menu complements it perfectly—fresh, delicious, beautifully presented. And the staff? They are truly special: warm, friendly, and effortlessly professional. You feel welcomed, seen, and remembered.
Weekends bring another layer of magic with live music that flows gently through the air, blending seamlessly with the natural soundscape. It’s never intrusive—always elevating.

The good brewer should know what they are brewing, or at least be a barista who can brew! I don’t usually order a pourover coffee from the fashion cafe like this. However, the staffs here they act like they do know so I gave them a tried😅.
They have like a bunch of staffs behind the bar but no one actually knows how to make a good coffee, how sad. The pour over was so flat and bitter. The drinks from espresso bar was also a let down, I couldn’t even taste a coffee since the ratio of OJ was too high. (My photo was adjusted to be nice, the real drink looked like pure OJ w/o coffee).
If u don’t know how to brew, please remove the slow bar. Once u create an expectation, u might have known how to deliver it. Maybe it’s my fault to order the pourover from the coffee bar that don’t even know the beans.
I loves coffee I can go any kind of coffee places, fashion or specialty, small & cozy or large & commercial, as long as they know what they are doing.
P.S. Don’t stop by if you’re a serious...
