Ruammit Halal Restaurant — Restaurant in Chiang Mai Province

Was here last year. Quality of food was much better then! First of all, we ordered a Chinese spicy chicken with chilli, but was served chicken with onions. And they told us that was their Thai-chinese version of chilli! Next they served us a plate of bean sprouts which we didn't order. When we rejected the dish, they told us it was supposed to be our Toufu (beancurd), not bean sprouts! Yes, we ordered Toufu ...and we managed to find about 5 small pieces of Toufu among the heap of bean sprouts! Speechless

We also told them specifically not to serve pineapples for dessert after dinner. But was served a whole plate of not very fresh pineapples because they didn't have any other fruits.

Were all above due to languange barrier? Can't be! The boss and us are of the same race, speaking the same language. It was our last meal in Chiangmai, and unfortunately,...

I don't get the hype. We're a Muslim couple traveling in Thailand for about 1 week and the last time we had halal Thai food was in Phuket at the beginning of the trip. Since then we've been surviving off 7-11 and snacks. Obvi we were excited about having Thai food in Chiang Mai cause it has a good rep.

We came to this place because it had good reviews. We are so disappointed. They don't have khao Soi, they don't have any dessert. We asked for less spicy and they got offended. :S the food itself was subpar.

To top it off they tried to charge us double our actual bill amount and said the calculator malfunctioned. We're leaving tomorrow and this was our thai food experience. So disappointed!...

Meet this little and fine restaurant in second generation! Just thinking back to the delicious dishes makes me watering my mouth! 😃😋💕

We chose for a variety of vegetables, also the steamed and the fried fish is highly recommendable! 🐠 The fried one is not only very tasty, but also very big!! 😲

Of course we had to come back for a second scoop in the short time we were in ChiangMai. 😆😋

Staff and kitchen are very efficient and the owner very friendly! 👍
