Great authentic Italian restaurant. I had the Black fettuccine with salmon, peas, with alfredo sauce. Delicious. The salmon was very moist and creamy, as it should be. I also had the pizza with four individual quarterly, if I may, toppings. I didn't realize that the toppings would come separately on different quarters of the pizza, please see the picture. This would have been much better had it been an entire Pizza with all four ingredients on the entire Pizza, so they can be tasted together. I only marks them down one star because of the pizza. This seems to be a Scourge in Thailand. All the pizzas I've had here are served with thin crust which is woefully undercooked. They haven't mastered a way to have the pizza crust around the edge properly cooked, as this one was, but also the bottom crust cooked to the same crispiness. This pizza had floppy soggy undercooked bottom crust. I realize there are a million different ways Pizza can be served, but I think any Italian will tell you the crust should never be undercooked. Otherwise there is an extremely broad menu of Italian food. Lots and lots and lots of variety and I'll definitely be back to try other things! See you there! For what you see in my picture, the pizza the fettuccine, one large Tiger Beer, one bottle of Still Water. .. US dollars 26,...
Read moreSome of the BEST Italian food I've had in my life. It was funny to have to end up in Chiang Mai to enjoy delicious authentic Italian. There's often crowds of Italians local and tourist sitting with their big families talking laughing and being animated, it really adds to the charm and atmosphere. The owner is an incredibly kind and talented host who goes out of his way to truly make you feel at hom,e a real "la mia casa è la tua casa '' experience. Between the food and the service we loved this place so much we went back 3 evenings in a row and brought a couple of friends with us on our last night there. It was their honeymoon and they absolutely loved it ! For about $160 the four of us dined like royalty and even had 2 bottles of house wine. A truly fantastic memory in Chiang Mai I would highly reccomended this place to...
Read moreThere are a number of excellent Italian restaurants in Chiang Mai, in my opinion this is not one of them.Given some modest bread, toasted to hide its quality. Ordered a starter and main courses requesting a break between them. The waitress returned to say the starter was finished, caprese, and recommending another which i accepted. We were barely half way through the starter when the main courses arrived! So we put the starter aside and ate the main course whilst hot and fresh. The food was ok without any flair or exceptional taste. The choice of wines was almost non-existent (red = house wine, merlot, chianti) with no further information.Had to walk to another table to get a black pepper mill and overall the service was lacklustre. It is cheap, but you get what you...
