明星 Pork Meat & Knuckle Rice — Restaurant in Chiang Mai Province

4 stars. 1 of the few food stores within 5 min walking radius that opens till late at night. Shaved some stars off as quality inconsistent across the multiple days we visited. Famous stall with celebrities photos and well known even on Chinese social apps.

Food quality: They’re well known for their pork which I didn’t try. Chicken here is tender. Fresh coconut drink here is a carve out of young, tender coconut flesh with juices within. Sauce used here can be rather salty and not used to our palette, somewhat different from Bangkok food taste. Inconsistency: Pork ribs soup here one day gave big ribs with lots of bones and no melon, another day was small ribs and melon.

Food portion / Price: Portions are good. Prices are in line with most F&B eateries in Chiang Mai.

Service: Menu has English and mandarin translation. Staff understand them both generally. Qucik turnaround, after getting table and placing order the food will be served relatively quickly.

Crowd: Always expect a crowd, but there’s still space to accommodate more deposit their cozy...

Hi! Food was very good, meat was super soft & noodles came with very good texture. So so affordably cheap!
