Woods bar,rooftop 5fl. — Restaurant in Chiang Mai Province

This bar desperately needs to be placed under new management. It has a lot of potential - with an amazing view, pool, television, sound-system and a large area to fill - but it's very poorly utilized.

The staff are the major problem. Utterly unobservant to anything except their mobile phones. They make zero effort to make you feel welcome and won't go out of their way to do anything for you. After the rains, they let everything remain soaking - leaving my Mother to offer toilet-paper to other guests so that they could sit without getting drenched.

The food is embarrassingly poor - with pauper's portions and low-quality everything. The prices are quite low, but they're still too high for the rubbish they serve.

The bar itself is terribly sign-posted. From Google Maps you'd assume it was on the roof of the building with Captain Jack outside - we entered there and a helpful man told us we instead needed to go to the Prestige Hotel - behind his premises. You then need to go up the lift to the 12th floor. None of this is obvious. We had to ask at reception.

It only avoids 1-star because, yes, we did get drinks and food, and it didn't poison us. Until the feckless dolts responsible for this bar are replaced with capable people - I would...

An adorable space - cool on the hottest of days, will receive any of what small breeze there may be. As far as bar prices go, I must have ordered the most expensive bottle of beer in Chiang Mai - 200bht a small bottle. I did ask how much in thai however I must have misheard as I really would have fathered just a Leo. So my review will be tainted on that small misunderstanding perhaps. I wont give the staff stats for much friendliness but I dont expect too much having lived here for a few years. Easy to get to, and a great late night catch up place. Pool is great and uber clean. Will be a regular. (I think it opens late afternoon so dont come for lunch...

Amazing rooftop bar, good place to observe the night view of Chiang Mai. Many choice of beverage likes cocktail, beer and craft beef offers. And also some menu on food. But the quality of food and snack must be improve more. The price is a bit high but not that expensive as many rooftop bar...
