White Market — Local services in Chiang Mai Province

This is a lane consisting of many stalls/markets right opposite to the entry of One Nimman. How is it unique? Well, the stalls here sell very aesthetically pleasing & thoughtfully designed products. To name a few: crochet knick-knacks, sweaters, shirts, bags, paintings, cat figurines, badges, stickers, notebooks, etc. Everything is colourful and cute—a feast to the eyes! Lovely.

Though, it goes without saying: the objects are expensive here. But rightfully so—as they are a product of the labour and time devoted by the artisans, hence it makes sense.

It’s a small craft market that opens from Fridays to Mondays. Stalls are in tents which can get squeezy when there’s more than 2 people in it. Mostly handcrafted items and linen clothes. Can tell the unique style of each maker :)

It’s not a big market but if you spend time browsing at each stall, you’d still spend 1-2h here! It’s right next to One Nimman mall, which has a wonderful foodcourt and it’s a short walk away from MAYA shopping mall.
