Amazing concept, fun experience, a must for ramen lovers!
Such a simple yet awesome concept; choose your ramen, choose some toppings and cook and eat there. There are other snacks as well and lots of different drinks (alcohol and non) including craft beer and soju.
Instant ramen from all over Asia, easily around or over 100 to choose from. The selection is honestly overwhelming. They have these cool machines that will pour the right amount of water and cook the ramen at the right time too. And they will fry any of the add-ons/toppings that you choose.
Staff are friendly and helpful if you’re a newbie.
There’s seating downstairs and outside and also a whole second floor with low tables and seating mats. There are also a bunch of board games to play.
The best part is that they are open 24/7 which makes it a perfect for a late night snack after the bars.
It was honestly such a fun experience to stumble upon this place and just explore and try instant ramen I’ve never seen before. A little culinary novelty in Chiang Rai but just a silly fun (and delicious) way to kill an hour or get a late night snack. And with the great selection of beers, soju, sochu and other drinks, could be a fun place for an evening with a small group of...
Read moreInteresting concept. You can choose from a variety of instant Noodle products which are also available at most retailers. These are sorted by countries (South Korea, Japan, Thailand, Malaysia, etc.). Then you can choose from additional toppings, like shrimps , meat balls, cheese sticks, corn dogs, etc.. Then you pay and go to the corner where you can easily prepare all the stuff (they have all equipment which cook for you automatically) and you even add free cabbage and spinach there. Ultimately the food is very tasty but nothing special since it is simply an instant noodle dish.
The service however was the worst I've experienced in Thailand so far. There were two employees sitting behind the desk looking at their phones not interested in what's going on in the shop at all. First we asked how the concept works and later we asked about the functions of the boiling machine. In both cases we were pointed at some pictures that gave a brief explanation. It would take 20 seconds to show it (which another local customer did after he saw that the employees didnt do it) but the employees were only interested in...
Read moreReally enjoyed the place and it is also a cute and fun thing to do for lunch/dinner. You will find different kinds of Asian instant noodles from Thailand, China, Korea etc. It is set up like a small supermarket with the option of preparing your own noodle soup there. There is a counter where you can buy some extra toppings. The preparation is simple and well explained. You can enjoy your noodle soup downstairs, but there is also another cosy area upstairs where you can take a seat.
A cool place for a quick and...
