I visited this place with my partner, it's a lovely looking location overlooking the lake. The cocktails are fairly priced and really strong which so far has been a rarity in this area, you can barely taste alcohol in cocktails in most locations near the beach or Laguna. This is all overshadowed unfortunately by the terrible service. We ordered food and drinks in happy hour, we were promised that the second free cocktail each would come after we had drank the first ones, this never happened and we were still charged for both cocktails when it was buy one get one free. Secondly, the food came out my partner received all of her food and I received a bowl of rice, and was missing the green curry. I didn't panic thinking it would be coming out shortly. After 5 minutes had passed I asked one of the waiters where my order was. He said he would find out he came back and said it would be 2 minutes. 15-20 minutes later my food came out. I asked for it mild as I had already had the curry from here and it was too spicy when I asked for medium. It came out with 8 chilli's in it. All I got was "sorry its late". I got the bill and left. After receiving shocking service, long wait times and they still charged me more than I should have paid. Do not go here it will ruin...

All in all, terrible staffs and will not be coming back here, so as all my...
Read moreWe have been going to this charming lake-side cafe for many years. Constently good food from quality ingredients, excellent service and a lovely atmosphere. Canal Village went down a bit in recent years, but there has been a "revival", and it is well worth a visit. Lots of nice shops and then there is the Albatross to sit and watch the world (and the little ferry-boats) on the lake go by. The Thai food is first class, as are the Italian dishes. At night it is all lit up, and can be quite exotic - close to stunning..The draft Heinikins...
