Prices are too high for such low-quality food and drinks. When I asked for the food to be “a bit spicy,” they didn’t add any spices at all and it was tasteless. Payment is a problem. The first time we paid easily with a UnionPay card, but two days later they told us they only accept Visa and refused to even try our card. We had to withdraw cash and pay a 250 baht commission, which completely ruined our mood. During the meal they sprayed insecticide right next to us and it went into our food. There were big cockroaches in the café. The fish tanks are very dirty, the water looks like a swamp and you can hardly see the fish. On Google Maps it says the café opens at 10 a.m., but at 11 it was still closed. Whoa! The food was amazing— I mean, literally amazing. We decided to go back for at least one meal each day during our 3-day trip. The Russian beef dumplings, glass noodle Pad Thai, and white snapper with mashed potatoes and baked veggies were insanely good. They really know how to cook the food here. I'd really like this small bar by the street if bangtao. It was not too much different from the rest of the bar, but the crew there was nice, always bring one or two free portions of fruit at the end of the meal, or even after those gorgeous ice cream they serve in the afternoon.
