Updated: On my second visit, my company and I went for late breakfast and chose breakfast sets (served till 10.30). We had one Egg croissant which came with tomato and baked beans. The other order was Baked egg which came in a small cup with 3 tiny bread slices. It was super delicious though a little small in portion. The set came with choices of coffee which they got the order wrong and I had to ask for a new one. First they gave me an Americano instead of a cappuccino. Then that cappuccino tasted like a latte with chocolate powder on top. This kind of mistake shouldn’t happened twice at this level of cafe and at the age where good coffee is found everywhere. Still I think it’s likely more to do with the lack of skill to make better coffee than the lack of good beans or equipment. Plus, the cup used for cappuccino is too small, fine for a regular coffee may be. Dim-sum was average but offered choices. The ambiance still good, relaxing, and with lots of light coming in. Maid was always around to clear up dishes and clean the table regularly. More space at the back on the second floor though view is nothing much. I notice the upper deck but didn’t go up as it was too hot.
Previous visit: Modern and cute cafe with good food, dessert, drinks selection. Love the second floor with the floor-to-ceiling glass windows. Good relaxing ambiance. Good service. I thoroughly enjoy the experience and will definitely...
Read moreI’ve visited this restaurant for breakfast few times, hoping for a consistent experience given its reputation, but unfortunately, I’ve been let down each time. On my latest visit, the bacon was undercooked, with a noticeable pink color. When I asked the staff to cook it further, it came back overcooked and burnt. The beans were mostly sauce, with only a few beans scattered throughout, which was really unappetizing.
To make matters worse, I was charged an additional 15 for a small portion of fruit jam with my bread, which felt completely unreasonable given the English breakfast in Thailand is always served with Jam or Marmalade.
After multiple disappointing experiences, I’ve decided not to return. It’s unfortunate, but I can’t justify coming back when the food and service continue to fall short of...
Read moreDon't ever come for breakfast. The food was undercooked and didn't match the description. When they brought us the wrong food rather than an apology we were met with looks of irritation that we had asked them to change it. Unfortunately this is often how customers are treated in Thailand. I understand that the language barrier can create some difficulties when ordering food but we were treated as intruders rather than paying customers. This experience was unfortunate because the desserts, drinks and decor are...
