Loft Restaurant & Bar — Restaurant in Kanchanaburi Province

Very good food. The service was excellent - attentive but not obtrusive, which is really hard to do. I have been in Thailand for the past 12 days and this was the best service yet! The atmosphere here is suited for couples or family. Very romantic and relaxing. Not suited for Spring Breakers (college students on vacation) or rowdy crowds like in Bancok.

They have a live band who plays soft pop music and love songs. You sit outside along the river. They have many fans for your needs, but there is a steady breeze from the river and we didn't have any problems with bugs. They hang lights on the trees but kept it dim and cozy.

The wait staff are very good at anticipating your needs and are very gracious. The dishes we ordered we're very tasty (not masked/ over-powered with hot sauce or sugars) and served hot. The timing of the dishes were perfect, and we didn't feel rushed.

A very pleasant venue, eatery and views. Staff extremely pleasant and try hard to make the visit a good one. Food outstanding and well within most budgets - go for the pork chop and be amazed. All in all a highly recommended restaurant. Only quibble is the high priced wines. Unfortunately out of the control of the owners as the import duty rate on wine is as high as 320% - that's the greed and stupidity of the ruling government (well done Sirs)

If in the area a must visit - get a river view and smile as the flotilla' of passing vessels...
