Read moreIf you really cannot make up your mind if you want touristy Thai fare, pizza or Russian dumplings, this is not a bad place. It’s large, bright and inviting. My simple dishes took quite some time to come out and when they did, a serving of rice came along that I had not ordered. The morning glory should be crispy and with a good dose of garlic and chili. This version was just veggies swimming in a sea of oyster sauce. The chicken panang was decent but the coconut milk dominated at the expense of all the many herbs and spices that are supposed to be used. Were they? Thai cuisine has soul, yet more and more places (this is a good example) where dishes seem to be made in the quickest way, with no soul, served to people that have no taste reference and are just happy about the free slice of watermelon and reasonable pricing. If you are in search of good Thai fare, not shrimp fritter or pineapple rice, I suggest many of the less glittery and inviting places where mom still mans the stove. Read moreGreat local food. It had everything we wanted that is Thai. Very modest place. And very clean. As soon as we sat down and they provided cold hand wipes for us. Service is excellent. Food was authentic and delicious.
We started out with fried Shrimp spring rolls. Very nice. Then we had the main dishes: Panay Curry Chicken, Prawns w/ glass noodles, Tom Yum Gum seafood soup, and pad Thai. Suggest medium heat for all the dishes. For dessert mango w/ vanilla ice cream. And sticky rice w/mango. Topped with still water and 5 coke zeros.
Again… it was all great. Highly recommend this little place. I give this place a 10 out of 10 rating. Food and service superb. And then you add the total cost for dinner including a 20% tip. Roughly $40 USD.
I have traveled and eaten at many places… but this is the first time I have given a 10 out of 10. Food + Service + Cost = excellent
I know what you’re thinking, how many people ate all that food? … 3 adults and we finished all the food… it was that good! It really could have fed 5. But we...
