Still the best restaurant on Phuket that we know. Authentic (southern) Thai cuisine at the highest level. This season the restaurant is completely overcrowded, mostly by Chinese tourists. This leads to long waiting times and unfortunately also unpleasant scenes: many are very impatient, often very loud and leave a lot of rubbish behind (including rubbish brought in from outside). The way the food is eaten is sometimes perceived as unappetizing. It is a shame that the always friendly staff are shown so little respect by some East Asian guests. A little more orientation towards the customs and traditions of Thailand would defuse the situation considerably and one could again perceive the restaurant visit as relaxing, tasty and pleasant all round. Due to the top quality of the food, lovingly prepared and at reasonable prices, we will eat here again and again - despite the circumstances for which the team is not responsible.

It was a short Tuk Tuk ride away from Centara hotel. It's not much to look at, but what it lacks in decor it makes up for in the fantastic, home-style food! The green curry was full of flavor, and depth, the basil chicken was excellent and a particular standout was the pork Thai salad. But, I think it's safe to say that whatever you order will be authentic and delicious. Remember, this is authentic Thai food, so it can get pretty spicy! The service is friendly and very quick. We'll be...
Read moreAnother great and quite hidden restaurant with delicious food and nice prices. The main dishes were tasty (but be careful what you are ordering, it may look a bit different than what you expect - better to check the pictures of the dishes above on the wall) and portions were big. You can wait a bit longer if there are many people. Prices are around 70-150 Baht (mostly seafood is more expensive) and they have mainly Thai food. Free water on the tables and the waiter brings a glass with ice automatically. In general, staff is nice. We paid in cash, they accept cards but with...
