The restaurant used to be our best of all time when they opened shop in Ari. Later when they moved to Ekamai, a lot of things changed including food and staff's attitude. One of the two chefs went back to Japan and did not return which made a lot of dished removed from the menu, including our favorite fresh raw fish platter. Many others were missing too and some were newly added to the menu. The staff's attitude also changed (maybe due to the load of increasing guests). Although the staff were the same and they remembered us but they didn't seem to eagerly welcome us. When they firstly moved there, the owner invited us to visit them and suggested to park in front of the shop if there's available so not to pay for parking at Donki which we did for the first few times. Sashimi and motsu nabe (motsu hot pot) are recommended dishes, and there are many other dishes on the menu as well, but when I went there, the food did not come out easily. The motsu nabe is highly recommended, and the motsu was very tasty, with a nice crispy texture and the soup was just the right amount of salt.
The location is a long walk from the BTS, so Taxi or Grab is required. It is safer to make a reservation.
I think the price is standard in the Thonglor area. It is not cheap, but I think it is reasonable...
