The restaurant used to be our best of all time when they opened shop in Ari. Later when they moved to Ekamai, a lot of things changed including food and staff's attitude. One of the two chefs went back to Japan and did not return which made a lot of dished removed from the menu, including our favorite fresh raw fish platter. Many others were missing too and some were newly added to the menu. The staff's attitude also changed (maybe due to the load of increasing guests). Although the staff were the same and they remembered us but they didn't seem to eagerly welcome us. When they firstly moved there, the owner invited us to visit them and suggested to park in front of the shop if there's available so not to pay for parking at Donki which we did for the first few times. But later, as the restaurant became more busy and staff became not friendly anymore, we called to check if there was available spot in front of the shop, though the staff remembered us, they refused to look for a spot and rebuffed us to find a parking in Donki instead. When we arrived, they looked busy and didn't eagerly to service us. The menu was also limited, many of our favorite dishes were removed. We were disappointed as we can tell we were one of their mostly visiting customers at that time (we visited them once to twice a week for several months while in Ari). That was the last time we visited and never thought to go there again for the...

Small warm-welcoming Japanese restaurant located beside Donki Mall Most of the staff have good service mind except for 1 waitress that always use harsh words when speaking.. making bad-mood face and never smile.. she has q pretty bad attitude Mizutaki (chicken hotpot Hakata style) small size (for 1-2 persons) comes with a lot of vegetables, minced chicken, chicken meat, and ponzu dipping sauce Terra Gomaburi is a yellowtail sashimi served with sesami sauce which is pretty salty. Better dipped jus a little bit and all will be just as delicious as it should be Fresh shrimp eith sushi rice and raw egg is very jice and juicy. There are 5 big shrimps with a small amount of rice and a big fresh...

Izakaya featuring Hakata cuisine from Fukuoka Prefecture, Kyushu, Japan. Recommended for those who want to enjoy the same level of cuisine as you would eat in Japan.

Sashimi and motsu nabe (motsu hot pot) are recommended dishes, and there are many other dishes on the menu as well, but when I went there, the food did not come out easily. The motsu nabe is highly recommended, and the motsu was very tasty, with a nice crispy texture and the soup was just the right amount of salt.

The location is a long walk from the BTS, so Taxi or Grab is required. It is safer to make a reservation.

I think the price is standard in the Thonglor area. It is not cheap, but I think it is reasonable...

The food was okay, but it leaned towards being too salty—actually. It might be intended for pairing with drinks, but the saltiness was so intense that it left my tongue feeling numb. We had made a reservation, but when we arrived, the table was dirty. Our table was located directly in front of the storage room, and we were constantly interrupted by staff coming in and out to grab supplies. To make matters worse, there were piles of items stacked next to us. We even had to wipe down the table ourselves, only to find the tissue covered in dust, which really ruined our appetite. Overall, it was disappointing, especially since I had high expectations.
