Good location, very good coffee but let down by the food. I love a good eggs bendict. Looks great on the menu. Looked good on the plate. But the hollandaise was not real. Translucent and Sweet! How is that even possible? I would need to read the label on the jar it came out of I guess. Whatever they put on those eggs was not hollandaise.

Also undercooked eggs. The white far from set.

I sent it back and watched the cook make a fresh batch of hollandaise. Eggs again undercooked but at least now edible.

Will I come back? For the coffee maybe. For...

Always so disappointing when something so good the first time turns mediocre on the second try. Such is the case with the eggs Benedict. I had to fight cutting the brioche and I'm no dainty eater. The spinach was so wilted it was fibrous.

Another strange thing was no one came even though everyone -- wait staff who would rather clean tables, the cooks behind the counter -- saw me come in and sit down. They kind of have me a blank look and looked away. I had to go up to the counter to ask if it was...

They make a good stab at crumpets. And whilst they have choice of coffee beans I think the Thai coffee is a decent accompaniment. Once tried the pancakes expecting an American style - but although what arrived tasted fine, strangely it was more cake (layers) served in a pan.
