Decided to try this place for dinner based on other reviews. It lived up to the reviews.

My partner and I had mango shake and water melon juice for drinks. Both were amazingly sweet, personally one of the best mango shakes I had whilst in Thailand.

For meals we pigged out cos my partner never finishes her dishes. We ordered the prawn fried rice, chicken and vegetable red curry, papaya salad, deep fried chicken (blackboard item) and mango sticky rice.

I don't have any pictures because I finished everything before I remembered. The deep fried chicken was to die for, the batter was crunchy and crispy. Would highly recommend.

Papaya salad and red curry were both top notch. The chicken was surprisingly tender and the sauce was just right that I could finish all of it, normally too heavy or salty for my liking.

So if you are in the area this is a great place for a meal with friendly service from the owner who does all the cooking.

My favorite restaurant in Koh Lanta. They are amazing, not only is the food super good but the people here are so nice. We went here multiple times a day every day. The Pad Thai, fried rice, egg noodles, and the fried chicken wings are exceptional! I also got the egg salad with chicken. The fresh mango shakes I could drink over and over, the coke comes with a separate glass with ice and a lime, and the rum punch was my favorite alcoholic drink. You can also order food and drinks to-go for takeaway as well. I wish I was staying in Koh Lanta longer so I could come back again and try even more of their dishes. When we told her that my boyfriend got stung by a stingray in the ocean, her husband offered to put medicine and bandage the wound for him. At night, when there was Mosquitos, they gave us bug spray and lit incense near us to keep the bugs away. In the daytime, they pointed fans at us to keep us cooled down. Over the top care and made us feel like we were family. Always happy and always excited to see us as well as the other guests. I love you guys! Thank you so much for making us so happy...

Fish cost 380baht - half only Morning glory small portion. Watermelon shake - diluted. Very disappointed. The service-when we enter the the restaurant , no smile, no welcome. But when Farang customers enter, her smile wide until can reach her ear. The lady asked us to order faster-faster because she said her farang customer beside us gonna order a lot. I don't take very long to order from her anyway. Quite rude. The food not cheap also. Why can't treat every customer the same..I don't eat there for free,ok!!! And next time just put sign "No Asean Customer, Please!"

For those customers said that this place got best food...they must be never been to other...
