Loro Loco Pizza Cuisine Restaurant — Restaurant in Ko Lanta Yai

Went to Loro Loco after reading other good reviews and I really can't emphasize how truly amazing the food is! Normally I wouldn't try pizzas and hummus in Thailand as it can be hit and miss but the hummus was without a doubt the best I'd ever had, and the falafel.

Also tried the vegan gyros pizza and it was one of the most incredible pizzas. The dough was perfect and the gyros were super smoky and intensely flavorful.

Finally, the jackfruit Nepalese curry was also absolutely exceptional. Normally I wouldn't order a jackfruit curry and don't tend to like jackfruit usually but this curry was just amazing. The flavours were divine and the jackfruit was cooked to perfection. I really can't say enough great things about this place. Very nice pizza - Neapolitan style. Of course it is not exactly like in a pizzeria in Napoli - but very, very close. And if you’re craving for a pizza in Thailand, then you can come here without thinking twice. Price-wise it’s also ok, around 250-280 for a common type of pizza and you have chili oil and garlic oil on your table to season to taste.

We also had the falafel plate as starter. The hummus was the best we had in Southeast Asia so far - but unfortunately, not excellent (Tahini flavor, lime and garlic flavor missed; different type of hummus more related to color, except if the one in the middle). The falafel were crispy, but also here - not as in levantine regions. But also here, for being in Thailand it was definitely ok.

My wife and I went here for dinner and had a great time. Finally found a place in Thailand that does delicious pizza! Not only that, but they also had amazing bread, hummus, falafel, and fries! Oh, I forgot to mention they have good beer prices and great service too!

Each table has a little table game, so we sat around having drinks and playing Uno before and after we had our meal. We were never rushed and the chef (and I think owner?) even came out to ask us how our meal was (as I said above, it was absolutely delicious) and talk to us for a bit.
