As we've spent 7 months on Koh Lanta over the past two years, we've been eating a LOT at OA's and just love it every day !! It's such a simple place with super sweet staff, the lady owner will remember what you like or dislike, for example how much spicy you like your food and she knows perfectly how to adapt the spiciness so you can try her papaya salad without fear !! It's the only place on the island where I could eat papaya salad !
While in other restaurants sometimes the quality of ingredients would vary from one day to the other, here at OA every day was as good as ever, you can take a mango shake every day and it's always perfect !
Her food is super tasty, fresh and the prices are quite cheap compared to other restaurants especially for that quality ! We took the habit to order 3 or 4 dishes for the two of us without rice, just loving fresh vegetables

She was super sweet too. Make sure you tell her if you want it spicy otherwise she won’t add chili as most people can’t tolerate it and then complain it’s too spicy. Best dishes were the paneng curry and tom ka gai but my friends loved the satay, green curry friend rice and regular fried rice. She opens at 8...
Read moreWe had three dishes our first night and two our second night, after not wanting another overpriced and bland night along the beach. We had: panang curry w. Tofu, masaman, “noodles” (a soup of some sort), green curry fried rice, some fried noodle thing. Everything about 80 B, incredibly flavorful, big portions, quick. We’ve eaten at a dozen other places along the beach and Main Street, and this was by far the best. Everything had a meat and fish option.
