We came to have dinner and enjoy the spectacular view of the sunset. The first dish that came gave away what was coming. The fried rice was asked to be very spicy but didn't taste anything. The paneng vegetables ordered no spicy came in a green curry-looking stew that was super spicy. After a run-back to the kitchen it was still to spicy to eat. The pad Thai ordered with extra peanuts and medium spice came in not resembling pad Thai the slightest; there was no egg, no peanut and instead cashews, and tasting NOTHING. We tried to communicate this to the staff who ignored us for 10 minutes leaving us screaming across the restaurant "excuse me" to get any service. When the final dish came out, chicken satay for the 4-year old about 40 min after the first dish was served it was a stir fry in curry sauce. We immediately tried to communicate with the server that this was not what we ordered and she flipped us the middle finger while walking away. In summary, nothing of what was served was consistent with what we ordered and the service was the most awful I've experienced in Thailand. DO NOT EAT HERE ONLY COME FOR...

The Pad Thai came with cashews and no egg which really makes it another dish and the chicken satay in some sort of curry sauce instead of grilled on a stick as it usually does. Maybe call it chicken curry instead? Some parts of our order must have been lost because my 4 year olds food came only after us asking for it (and the rest had already finished) and when the food did arrive it was not good. Eager to solve the situation we suggested improvements but was flipped the finger by a member of the staff. To be fair the owners seemed to want to solve the situation but we had already lost our patience and will as you might have guessed not be coming back. You can get better Thai food almost anywhere but the view of the...
Read moreVery friendly owner and his wife and son serving the best cocktails and smoothies I've had a chance to try on the island. Try vailla ice cream (that's actually straciatella) - it's not in the menu, but the owner understands English well enough to bring you the scoop with some extra cashew nuts. It's rewarding to sit there in one of their little two-person bamboo houses with a stunning sea view after the adventure of getting there walking through the beach and climbing rocks. Especially after sunset, when the sea rises, making the way even more changing. Also -...
