Gina’s was right across the street from our Airbnb and we went almost every night, it’s so so good! The staff is very kind and kid friendly and the food is super delicious as long as you know what you like! There’s tons of options but we fell in love with the pad Thai with chicken, fish and chips, morning glory, and mango sticky rice. As for drinks there smoothies are a bit more pricey than just a normal street vendor but they are super good and very refreshing on a hot day. When do I eat? —> Since Koh Lanta is a fairly touristy island everyone is going out to eat since they’re staying at resorts and hotels and such, so needless to say Gina’s is slammed around lunch and dinner time (12:00-14 and 19:00-21-ish). So I suggest coming sometime in-between or afterwards so you don’t have to wait for a table or anything. Gina also rents motorbikes which cost 150 TBH a day (I believe) and we ended up renting from her for our entire stay. The bike was in pretty decent condition and the cost was much lower than other renting companies we looked at on the island. All in all a great restaurant!!

My four friends and I booked a 4 nights stay villa in Malee beach. Being our first trip to Koh Lanta, we had no idea where and what to eat. The villa staff recommended Gina Cafe, which is a very short walk from the villa. We were pleasantly surprised by the service, hospitality and quality of food. Notable dishes that were embedded in my memory are: - masamaan, full of flavour and mildly hot - tamarind prawns, teasing the palate with gentle tamarin sour and sweetness - Thai steam fish (we preordered fresh fishes) - Fried fishes topped with mango salad sauce (not in menu but pursuaded the cook to prepare) - lobster thermidor (special order and albeit a little pricy) - Tom yam pizza - I also challenged the cook to prepare Green curry pizza, which turned out to be out of this world. We brought our own drinks with no corkage charges. Prices are very reasonable for dishes in the menu. For out of menu requests, be sure to agree on prices before you order. Highly recommended to visit this restaurant Koh Lanta

The food is great. Mussaman curry is very recommended. The staff is very friendly here and makes you very welcome. Actually the first time I came here I asked just for plain rice (stomach issues), it was quite late, so it wasn't easy to find. And they not only served it, but also didn't take money. Such small things return your faith in humanity😉 I returned few times after it and all food, not only rice was great 😀

We had an absolutely fantastic time in Koh Lanta and found Gina’s to be the best restaurant around. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, nothing was too much trouble. The food was just as good - very authentic Thai food made to order from the freshest ingredients. They even recommended some special dishes to us for our last night where we enjoyed whole sea bass and delicious crab. We will be sure to visit again when we return...
