If you love living and sleeping surrounded by palms and banana trees also close to the beach, then this is a lovely accommodation. We've stayed here for 17 nights (we work and travel). The owner speaks English and French and has a lovely vibe and a wonderful energy also he's funny 😊. We slept for the first 2 nights (we were testing) and we loved it so we booked for another 2 weeks. One perk by changing the tree house is that in the second one had some ant invasion in the bathroom :)) and we announce and immediately he took care of. But nature is nature, you must expect ants, gecko's, mosquitoes. One thing that bothered me was the chickens for the neighbours :)) the roosters screams (crows) every morning around 4 am or 5 am :)) it's funny but if you stay as long as us, it's getting annoying. Other than that we negotiated for the price for so many nights and the owner gave a discount. Overall we loved it as it was also like 5 mins from the beach. Left a pic with the rooster too :)))

Taking my last breakfast in koh lanta beaches, I want to try this place seeing fully every morning. What a good choice ! Discreet and lovely Little place with a really tasty and good capucino. And what about the "menu". My homemade beetroot hummus toasts with sunflower seeds was delicious and parts are really generous. I've tried a superenergy smoothie - very good too. (Avocado /cucumber/ almond / banana / coconut water) And not such expensive as other place offering veggie /vegan plates.

As stated by others, staff people are very friendly and helpful. We had fruit salad, chocolate croissant and toast with avocado and poached eggs. The fruits were good and fresh and the croissant delicious. For the toast with avocado and 2 poached eggs I would have liked more avocado on it. The portions I would say they are huge, but for me it was good as breakfast the avocado toast together with the croissant. They also offer water free of charge. Would recommend for sure.

Saw all the good reviews on TripAdvisor and seeing as we were celebrating our 1 year anniversary and the pictures look really romantic we opted to stay here ! Big mistake. Check in went smoothly and the owner was very nice on arrival .. we then went to our tree hut to our surprise it was nothing like the pictures... them pictures must be years out of date.. I dont expect luxury for the price we were paying but at least try make it look a little like the pictures. There were spider webs everywhere.. rodent poo on the walls.. which doesn't take the cleaner much to clean these off. Then we went out for dinner to then come back and go to get something out of our bag to find ants crawling all over it and not just a few a mean a swarm! ( we placed our bin outside so we wouldn't attract ants inside) we understand that it had been raining and we would get some insects but this was disgusting we had to remove everything from our bag .. there were ants all over our clothes. So after trying out best to get them out there wasn't much we could do at 8pm at night so we had to wait until morning and we had to take all our clothes to the laundry. Also in the middle of the night the wifi went off the electic went off and we stayed in a fan room so in the morning it got really hot so the first thing we wanted to do was take a quick cold shower before going to the laundry and to see the owner about the ants but to our surprise the was no water also.. so after getting dressed and after been to the laundry I went to see the owner and when I told him about all the issues he said the guests before you didnt complain.. I can move you rooms to the next one if you like and when I asked what he could do about our washing seen as we have had to pay more money to get our whole bag of clothes clean he didnt reply and I said could we possibly have an aircon room for all the trouble and his reply was Haha you cant have an aircon room for 350baht a night which is what I paid for the fan room.. thay was the last straw for me so I checked out. To say we had no electric mo wifi no water ants all over our room and had to take our clothes to the washing and then pay 300baht to get them clean I thought the least he could do to say sorry was upgrade us to an aircon room also it wasn't even many people staying there so it defo wouldn't of been any trouble for him. All the good reviews are defo on about the coffee shop he owns and not about the accommodation he runs. Do yourself a favour and stay down the road.. next to 7 11 beautiful resort on the pathway to the beach for the same price. Do not make the same mistake as I did. Pictures are defo not what you get. I'm sure some people have had an amazing stay here hence there reviews but mine was not...

After reading about all the raving reviews we decided to stay here. However, after a good first impression, we were really disappointed. The owner is very very chaotic and just tries to hard to be popular with everyone. Meanwhile he can't manage the basics to run the place. He keeps bragging about how he could ask for more money, but that it's not about the money for him (but he trippled the room rates in only a few years..). More important:

The breakfast is overpriced and the coffee is not good either. The recommendations the owner gives were non-existent or not a good/trustworthy place at all. The bungalows were okay, but VERY basic. We don't travel in luxury, but this was below our level of comfort. The beds were extremely hard, we woke up with back pain every day. The bathroom is really outdated. There was only a small fan that could never cool down the place enough to sleep comfortably. The room was never cleaned in the 7 days we stayed there, despite our repeated request for new bed sheets. The owner was always in a rush and just says yes to everything, but never follows up. Roosters. So. Many. Roosters. You can't keep more than one rooster, because they will fight eachother. Well, that's what happened. 24/7. Right underneath your window. All day, all night we heard the devastating screams of the roosters. We had the best ear plugs, but even those couldn't cancel that noise. You can't get in touch with the owner as soon as he closes the coffeeshop. His phone number in the folder in the rooms is no longer in use. Another thing that's outdated. If anything happens, you are lost. Also, we made other agreements and the owner left us completely in the dark. Never heard from him again, despite many MANY reminders. They do not respond to e-mails of IG messages. Till this day I haven't heard from him, which is really really rude.

We are experienced Thailand travellers, but this was just such a waste of time and money. Not at all what we are used to in matters of service en trustworthiness. Maybe it is that he is trying too hard and the place is too busy for his own good. We would not recommend. Across the street there is a real good breakfast spot called Living Room, with a proper bakery, fantastic bread and a wide range of brunch options. Go there! And for accomodations: for 1000 THB you can find better places that will at least provide a proper...
