They knocked themselves down an extra star for how it ended. The food was bang average. Maybe below average. It was our worst meal in Thailand (but we’ve had great meals in their defence). Given its priced higher than everywhere else I expected the food to be much better. Pad Thai didn’t have much flavour and the Pad See Ew was not a Pad See Ew (see pics). It’s definitely still edible so a solid 3/5 for food. When we asked about why the noodles weren’t the usual flat noodles we were just told ‘no’ and the lady walked away and never came back. Dish itself was too salty, and the soggy brown bean sprouts on the side weren’t a good addition. The kicker was at the end when they added an ‘optional’ 7% service charge!! For what service?! The chef seemed like a nice guy but the waitress was rude and didn’t even ask us how our meal was or anything so I’m not sure why she was annoyed when we didn’t pay the service charge. But had the cheek to come back over and ask us for the extra money! When paying an extra 30B per meal compared to other restaurants in Lanta I’d expect there to have at least been soap in the toilet....
Read moreWe just got home and already miss this place! This restaurant was our go to place for our stay in Ko Lanta, it just had the perfect vibe and music, amazingly delicious food, a well selected menu, super sweet and caring staff… and all of this for a very reasonable price. You could really tell that they all put their heart into this place and the food 🥰
We would of course recommend their iconic Pad Thai, but also all other dishes that we tried. I also loved the tom yum noodles very much! When I told the waiter that I really loved it and it was quite spicy, she brought me some yogurt, that was so wholesome ♥️
the owners were also very kind, on our last day we spent all of our cash and asked if we could pay with credit card, but the card device did not work… they put so much effort into making it work again, we appreciated that a lot 🥰 we would definitively recommend coming here 😍
All the best wishes from Chrissy and Chris...
Read moreWhen 6 of us walked into this restaurant on a rainy night for dinner, we had a good vibe of this place. The restaurant's walls were decorated with old photos of the owner with his band & also his prized guitars. There were a couple of tables dining in & some farangs ( with no disrespect ) were about to leave after finishing their dinner. I started small talks with the owner/cook in my broken thai language. The owner’s looks could be deceiving, he turned out to be super friendly person. The thai lady handling our order was friendly with pleasant personality and took our order in English language. The dishes we ordered in my attached photos were also AWESOME!! Prices were reasonable. Clean place to dine in. As the night was getting late and we quickly rushed to put in our last orders the restaurant was taking. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are in Ko Lanta. We were all very delighted with our...
