Sabai Sabai Viewpoint & Lounge — Restaurant in Ko Lanta Yai

A must visit place on Koh Lanta, can’t recommend it enough! As the name suggests, the restaurant is located on a hill and delivers a spectacular view over the west coast - especially during sunset! But do not limit yourself to sunset, you will feel welcome and at home all day long! You have the possibility to relax in hammocks with a cold drink or enjoy the delicious food that comes out of the kitchen. Many different options, you should try them all! The service is just perfect - everyone is really friendly and attentive, our baby daughter was the highlight for everyone. We had the great privilege to get to know the owner who leaves nothing to be desired! Do not miss out on the sunset, the food, the drinks and the great staff!

Sabai Sabai Viewpoint & Lounge is such an amazing place on the hill and we are so happy to be one of the first guests to join this special location and fantastic atmosphere. My husband and I have been coming to Koh Lanta for more than 20 years and this is probably the best viewpoint on the island. To watch the sunset from here is just beautiful and you can take wonderful pictures. The drinks are delicious, I can recommend especially the Aperol Spritz and the white wine. Phenomenal view of the sunset, delicious cocktails and the best classic Thai food we’ve had on the island (the flavour is reminiscent of the fantastic Thai food we have back home in Sydney). As this restaurant is very popular, I’d highly recommend reserving a spot via Instagram if you don’t have a Thai number. We ordered rice, panag curry, papaya salad and pad ka prao.
