Yellow Bistro — Restaurant in Ko Lanta Yai

I came to this restaurant because of the good reviews and high ratings. I would say the taste is good, but the problem is that I had a stomachache right after eating it, and the diarrhea lasted for a day. Obviously the food might not be suitable. This is the second time I had diarrhea after eating crispy pork on the island. I suspect that the crispy pork on the island is problematic because the one I ate in Bangkok was fine. The service attitude of the store is okay, but it is incredible that the restaurant can provide ashtrays, especially with so many children eating in the store. People who smoke are really selfish regardless of the occasion. Although the food tastes good, beware of possible food poisoning. Btw...

Besil ster fried with Crispy pork...sauce is full of spices and abit sweet.

Shrimp cake...not sure its homemade or not but we love it anyway.

We’ve been on Koh Lanta island for 2 weeks and this is some of the nicest food we’ve had. We were greeted straight away, got menus straight away and our order taken. Yes - there wasn’t so many customers, but even so - great service. The food was utterly delicious. We had really tasty, fresh Papaya Salad, Stir Fried Tofu with basil and Stir Fried Spicy Noodles with Tofu - just beautifully cooked, simple and loads of vegetables. We’re actually a bit fed up we’ve just found it, but we’ll definitely be back - it’s really great value. Nice music, nice family and quite an upmarket experience for the price of the food. 👏🏻...
