Go here earlier than the masses (before 18:00) or reserve a table beforehand. We were lucky and got a really small spare table which was totally fine for dinner. They try their best to serve as many customers as possible! That's also why it takes some time (like 1h) to get your food. If you are okay with this, go here. If you are in a hurry, better choose another place.
We had paneng and massamam curry. The portions were really small for the prices. But this might be a personal and subjective view. We also selected the appetizer "Yawee Chicken" which are chicken wings with a "special sauce" which was really really delicious! Unfortunately the appetizer came shortly after our main courses. So much for timing!
Recommendation: For dessert, we took the Fried banana and the often recommend Oreo Banana Chocolate Shake. Those were a dream! Seriously one of the best things I have eaten in Thailand so far. If you have some space...
Read moreThis restaurant is one of the most popular we have seen since our time on the island and we know why. The staff were lovely and friendly, location right on the main road so easy to find , clean, simple and relaxed atmosphere and the food, wow delicious, perfect portion size, great plating and such good value for money. we really couldn't believe that we were getting 2 starters, veg spring rolls, fried squid (we had eaten half the starters before we took our picture) and 2 mains, rice with massman curry with crispy chicken and seafood phad thai for under 350baht, incredible. The cheapest place we have been to on the island and cheaper than some street food. The low price did not mean the portions or quality was less, the opposite. We left the biggest tip we have all holiday as we couldn't walk away with good conscience paying so little. A must to visit when in the area no matter what...
Read moreDuring our six-day holiday in Koh Lanta, this restaurant served the most unforgettable meals of our trip. We indulged in the Massaman curry and Panang curry, both vegetarian/vegan, featuring crispy tofu balls, fresh vegetables, and perfectly cooked rice. The flavors were rich and well-balanced— creamy, every bite was pure bliss.
For dessert, we couldn’t resist their mango sticky rice, and wow, it was nothing short of divine. The sweetness of the mango, the creamy coconut-infused sticky rice—it was the perfect ending to an already spectacular meal.
Beyond the incredible food, the restaurant’s atmosphere is wonderfully relaxed, offering a warm, homey feel. The staff? Absolutely exceptional—friendly, welcoming, and attentive.
Without a doubt, this is the must-visit spot for dining in Koh Lanta. If you’re looking for authentic flavors and a great vibe, this place delivers...
