The Journey Bar — Restaurant in Ko Samui

We stayed at casa de Mar and had dinner at journey bar several times. As well as breakfast. Dinner: tried Thai dishes all are excellent. Tasty and not expensive. Friend tried burger and like it very much. Breakfast: they server buffet style breakfast. With egg station where one can order egg dish. I do recommend to do it it's excellent. I loved their omelette with veg. As well as banana pancakes 💙 They also server seasonal fruits Thai dishes, cereal, yogurt etc. One minor annoying thing is you have to order coffee. They only serve black coffee with milk. Staff is usually super busy and it's hard to flag them down if you want to order another cup of coffee. Also croissants are mediocre. RESTAURANT REVIEW

A little difficult to find, if you're not staying at the hotel. We parked in the car park of the hotel - Casa De Mar Samui Hotel.

Nice ambience on the beach, only a few meters from the sea. Very relaxing (except for the maintenance work around the restaurant).

All the food we ordered was very well presented and tasty. We had phad seaw, phad grapow gai, salmon teriyaki and potato and ham croquettes.

Service was OK.

Journey Bar and Restaurant is a beautiful venue at the northern end of chaweng beach. The views across the sea are spectacular and this is a fantastic venue for sunset cocktails.

The staff are amazingly helpful and friendly. A lady called Aor served us and couldn't do enough to make our time in the restaurant extra special.

The food is excellent and not expensive. Overall I cannot recommend this place enough. If you are in the area and fancy a cocktail, meal or both it's well...
