We were drawn to this restaurant for the good reviews but were left feeling so disappointed.
We saw a review left by a customer who had ordered a great looking charcuterie board but we couldn't see it on the menu, we showed the owner the image in the review, to ask if we could order this and he shrugged and said 'I don't know? that was last week??" In a very annoyed and dismissive tone, so we asked if he could make something similar.
He agreed and when it arrived it looked great, a variety of cheese, vegetables, olives and cold meats. But when we tried it, it was clear the vegetables and olives were old, they tasted musty and as if they were going off.
The cold meats were fine and the burrata cheese was nice, but when the bill came it was 1800 for the board ALONE.
Then the mains came, my boyfriend ordered the lamb I think, which came placed on top of something that resembled an old sponge and tasted like one.
I ordered the Lamb Ragu Gnocchi, the meat was definitely old, it looked like beef mince, it was a grey colour and we ate some of it together to not look rude.
On the way home in the taxi we quickly started to feel very ill and we both thought we might throw up. The next day we felt very sick in our stomachs.
In the end the bill came to over 4500 baht for a charcuterie board, two mains and bottled water, for two people..
The atmosphere seems nice to start, but after our welcome, it felt quite claustrophobic, out dated and as if you are an inconvenience as a guest.
Overall, I don't like to leave a bad review, but we will always remember our experience here because it quite literally left a bad taste in our mouth and was very, very expensive for...

Read moreI must admit I am addicted to Italian food and so I seek out the local restaurant wherever I travel. I have been travelling around Thailand for the last seven months and this is the best Italian restaurant I have eaten at. The decor and ambience are just perfect. There is an excellent choice on the menu and to have Italian owner and chef is just fabulous. The told me that 98% of the ingredients he uses are imported from Italy. I couldn’t argue with this with the wonderful flavours I experienced in the sublime fresh tuna and spaghetti dish. My girlfriend and I also ordered the chocolate ‘salami’ with a couple of scoops of ice cream; what are dream desert that was! You must try it when you go there. I asked for a glass of the house red not really expecting the beautiful velvety wine that I tasted. I wish there was something negative to say to give my report balance but there isn’t. It really was a fabulous meal and a...
