Samui Burger — Restaurant in Surat Thani Province

A nice little burger joint (Samui Burger) and coffee shop (Ditto) all under one newly built roof with pleasant, accommodating staff, good food and very reasonable prices.

I paid under 400 baht for a double cheese burger, fries, a can of coke and a bottle of domestic beer. You'll pay more in a McDonalds or Burger King here. This burger is more at the Five Guys level. It's more of a smash burger than some bouji blend of cuts with a scientific meat to fat ratio.

The burger I had was confusingly named the "Surf and Turf" burger, despite being all turf and no surf. I had a funny conversation explaining to the staff why they might need to consider a name swap with the "Island Burger" next to it on the menu (which contains chicken and shrimp). Nonetheless, the burger was very tasty.

As mentioned, the staff are friendly, the building is new and has air conditioning. The music is eclectic; one minute it's top 40s pop or acoustic folk, the next it's 90s - 2000s rock, punk or nu metal.

Definitely one of the better, wallet/purse friendly dining experiences you'll have...

Samui Burger is a must for burger fans! Not only are the burgers delicious (the best I’ve had in Thailand), they’re an amazing price starting at around 89 baht. There’s also a good choice of sides.

It’s a nice little place to dine in or you can takeaway, and the staff are also all really friendly.

They accidentally overcharged me (honest mistake due to language), but immediately put a message on Instagram asking me to contact them. When I went back the next day, they gave me my correct change and also offered me a free burger for the error, which was totally unnecessary, but very sweet of them.

Excellent friendly staff service, food was incredible I was impressed with size quality and speed of service they all were really on it and courteous.
