Share Restaurant - Koh Samui — Restaurant in Surat Thani Province

Very strange place. Nice place to sit. We ordered fish and salad. We also ordered bread basket along with the babaganoush

The waiter said that the bread was on the house, free. I said thank you, great.

The bread was meager, a few small pieces and STALE, hard as a rock. And the bread looked like it had gone through a few previous customers. After a few minutes I mentioned this to the waiter and he gave me a look like "bro I know". Eventually he said he find more bread. He came back with a different type of bread which was also stale!

We felt sick for the next few hours and into the next day.

My girlfriend said we should have left after the bread arrived. What kind of place serves bread that is hard as a rock? What other corners do they cut??

Here is some advice: if you run out of a dish, then don't serve it. Tell customers, sorry sir we ran out of bread. No worries. But don't serve something bad! Isnt this obvious?

The babaganiush was mediocre. The papaya salad was good but looked like it was reourposed. The salmon was decent but not great. The grilled fish was ok but the vegetable sides were weird.

My boyfriend and I visited Share last night for NYE and we absolutely loved it.

The owners are incredibly welcoming and helpful and the staff are absolutely brilliant, very friendly and polite :)

We loved the bread basket with the dips, especially the sun dried tomato dip, the salads are fresh and delicious (we got the Jambon salad and the stracciatella salad)

The only thing we didn't enjoy as much was the Baba ganoush, but this might be personal preference, the quality was good and fresh but just not to our liking.

We both ordered steak which was cooked well and you can tell the meat and all of the ingredients used were of a high quality.

We also had two desserts, the berry cheesecake and the Napolian cake, both very tasty.

Overall a lovely atmosphere with friendly staff who make you feel very welcome, great portion sizes if you are trying and sharing dishes, we will definitely be coming back again to try...
