A chilled out, picturesque, enchanting, mangrove bar in a small village at the north end of Koh Phi Phi Don. If you're looking to chill out in the evenings with lovely drinks and nostalgic music, this is the place to be. I have been to Phi Phi twice in 12 months now, and I am due to fly out again soon, and when I am there, I frequent this bar. It's the bar that I always dreamed of. The drinks are lovely and the staff kind and friendly. I often go in alone as a solo traveller and feel completely comfortable and welcome (solo travellers will love this). Last time I was with friends and it was equally as welcoming. Camel Rock bar is situated in a small charming village and appears to be constructed from beach artefacts and memorabilia from the 1990's and 00s. It has a special charm all of its own and if you watch carefully, you'll see water monitors swimming below the bar, in the mangrove. It is easily accessible from Laem Tong beach or SAii Village resort. The bar is surrounded by eateries too; so the aroma of delicious food often drifts towards your table and you may be tempted to wander for food. I love this place. NOTE: this bar is not in Tonsai (the main and busier area of Phi Phi), it is at the north end of the island and it takes around 30 mins on long tail boat to get there from Tonsai. Camel Rock is far more convenient for those staying at Laem Tong Beach or SAii village resort. This is really the Robinson Crusoe part of Phi Phi. If you want to visit from Tonsai, long tail will cost around 1000 baht one way (or 2000 baht return), The boatsman will return later, and bring you back to Tonsai as late as you like, as long as you prearrange it with them. You will see lots of videos on Phi Phi and sadly, most tourists tend to stick around the Tonsai area. I think this is short sighted and a big mistake, because there is so much more to Phi Phi than Tonsai. Make sure you check google maps so you get a good idea of the layout of the island and how the resorts are scattered around all ends...

During our four-day stay in Phi Phi Island, Camelrock Bar became our go-to spot, thanks to its fantastic vibe and exceptional drinks. The bar’s beachy, laid-back atmosphere, combined with its well-maintained and neat setup, makes it the perfect place to unwind.

The staff at Camelrock Bar are friendly and attentive, ensuring a great experience with every visit. The drink selection is a highlight, featuring a mix of classic and unique flavors expertly crafted by skilled bartenders. It’s a paradise for those who love quality cocktails at reasonable prices.

For a fun, relaxed, and well-cared-for beach bar experience, Camelrock Bar is the top choice. I highly recommend stopping by if you’re visiting Phi Phi Island—it’s an essential part of the...

Camelrock is a bar you have to visit on your visit to Phi Phi. Tucked away in amongst the small locals village, this bar is a feast for the eyes. Looking into different corners of the bar finding new weird and wonderful decorations.

The guys are great who run the place & small bit of remembering our order (albeit because we couldn’t stay away from the place!). Spending our nights playing the bar games that are available or watching the sea come back in and watching the sea nightlife come alive right under your feet whilst sipping on beautiful cocktails/beers/soft drinks.

Camelrock, thank you for being a perfect piece too our Phi Phi island visit.

We wish you all the best for the future of...

Camel Rock is our home from home. The fabulous owners Gab and Rosa we think of as our extended family. We come back here every year and always feel welcome. We even got our own wedding cocktail made for us given we got married on the island. They will truly go the extra mile to ensure you enjoy your time The bar is a hidden gem at the end of the town and always worth a visit with delicious cocktails, a friendly vibe with chilled music and funky decor. A tip is gabs mother Mila owns the oasis restaurant around the corner that does delicious food so ensure you try this too Make a trip to this bar, you won’t regret it and will likely be one of your holiday highlights
