S Sun Day — Restaurant in Krabi Province

Forget about the pictures from the menu and be prepared for the fried hell.

We ordered several dishes which were brought to us randomly. However, this was the least of our problems, as the dishes were: 1) Salad with shrimp tempura. The salad consisted of finely chopped cabbage and carrots, a couple of slices of cucumber and a gravy boat with butter. Shrimps - more breading than the shrimp itself and it stuck together in unappetizing oily lumps; 2) Sandwich with tuna. It's a sandwich very similar to the ones you can buy from a vending machine. For some reason, a piece of raw onion the size of a serving of tuna is also put in. Unsalted and overcooked french fries are brought as a side dish; 3) Pad thai. It was quite edible, although completely tasteless. Very sour, not balanced, the amount of shrimp and other toppings does not match the picture from the menu; 4) Strawberry shake. It is difficult even to describe what was wrong with the shake, but it was impossible to drink it. it looked like chimotic fruit ice melted to a slurry. Finally, it is worth noting that the place itself stands out next to neighboring establishments with its interior in a negative direction. This place has the most amazing seafood straight from the Phi Phi ocean (local seafood) and there is something you need to know for all chilli lovers the chilli sauce needs to be bottles and shipped all over the world as it is nothing you have ever had before on the earth. For all the investors out there you need to pay these people handsomely in the million as the Roi on this one is outstanding. I highly recommend this venue as one of the very best I has ever experienced....

We ended up eating here 2 nights in a row, and had a great experience both times. The food and cocktails are excellent. The 2nd night we had planned to go somewhere else, but we were very late going out to dinner. Several restaurants were already closed, and others had become unbearable because of the music from neighboring bars. SunDay still had a nice atmosphere and they welcomed us....
